( Author's Note : Hello guys I hope you all are doing well and before continuing the story I have somethings to say . First of all the plans to publish a new novel on this platform has been changed and instead a new fanfiction will take it's place . And I will announce the name of the new fanfiction very soon .
Secondly , the new novel I am writing will be released on Wattpad along with some other fanfictions . So if you are interested I recommend that you read them and hope you will support them as well .

Hence without any further ado let's start with our magical journey . )
Chapter : 8 : Surprise Invitation :
Location : Shinobi Academy of Konohagakure no Sato : Principal's office :
At this moment inside the principal's office three people were locked in a staring contest with each other making the atmosphere heavy and tense .
On one side was Yamamoto Takeru the main character of this story and on the other side sat Umino Iruka the current principal of the shinobi academy of Konohagakure no Sato .
And beside him sat another man with a short goatee .
Yes this man is non other than Nara Shikamaru the current Hokage assistant and if things were to go as it was in the series than he will become the Hachidaime Hokage / eighth fire shadow on a provential basis .
But Takeru had no intentions of letting things go as in the original story , so that future is no longer set in stone .
" Greetings head principal Iruka sensei and lord Nara Shikamaru . " - understanding that the silence needed to be broken and the rudeness of his own behaviour Takeru quickly greeted the people before him .
" Ha ha ha ! No need to be so polite young Takeru , come and sit down . " - said Umino Iruka .
" Yes Iruka sensei is correct . Takeru you are the genius of this year's entrance exam and your performance had been thoroughly impressive . Infact it's the best we have seen in last 5 years especially from someone of civilian background . " - praised Nara Shikamaru as he secretly eyed Takeru for any form of reaction .
" Thank you for your praise lord advisor I am deeply honoured . " - said Takeru still not leaving his respectful manners .
" Haha ! It's seems that it will be tough to get you talk more casually for now . But that's fine we will get it overtime . " - said Nara Shikamaru somewhat amused by Takeru's attitude .
Normally when someone from Takeru's age group especially from the civilian population meet someone like Nara Shikamaru the hokage's advisor and Nara clan head , they are mostly nervous and try to use flattering words ( mostly thought by their parents ) to gain attention . And there are also some people who after getting a little familiar just let go of all formalities and talk freely .
But Takeru had a different approach all together . From Takeru's word one could not sense the nervousness of the first group . And while his words may seem like flattering but infact their were no such attention seeking intentions behind them . At best they were formal in nature and were mixed with truth and humble politeness .
At the same time Takeru also differed from the second group of too much free minded people and maintained a healthy bit of caution and scepticism towards Nara Shikamaru who to him is a stranger and maintained his respectfully crafted way of speaking due to his position of authority .
" Lord Shikamaru if I may ask how is Mrs .Tamari doing , is her health alright . You see we have actually meet each other before and she has been very kind to me . " - asked Takeru suddenly changing the subject .
" Oh ... Yes , yes she's doing very good and infact she's the one who told me about you . And today after looking at your performance I can understand that her assistant of your genius is very correct . " - Shikamaru who was at first startled by Takeru's sudden inquiry regained his composure and gave a short version of what Tamari had told him about Takeru while also praising Takeru's dedication and hard work even more .
After Some Time :
" Takeru your performance had been thoroughly impressive but there are some questions that I would like to ask about . " - after the pleasantries Shikamaru's eyes become serious as he got to his main question .
" Please lord Shikamaru go ahead . " - Hearing this Takeru who was still showing a respectful smile also became a bit more serious , although he still kept his politeness intact .
" Well you see it's quite unnatural for kids of your age to show such mastery over ninjutsu especially your high level wind release ninjutsu . Moreover you are not from any clan and don't have any shinobi parentage to teach and support you in such places . So where exactly did you learn this ninjutsus from . " - asked Shikamaru as his voice became commanding as if he will only take the truth as the answer .
At this point even Iruka sensei who remained quiet for most of the time had a solemn and serious expression . After all this was indeed a series matter .
As said before after some huge reformations the education and information systems of the shinobi world has modernized a lot but this also brought about stricter policies on the registration of ninja related stuffs , especially ninjutsu and sealing techniques .
Under normal circumstances learning and using such ninjutsus would not have caused much suspicion at best a little curiosity from the higher ups but the problem is that this boy is a genius and more importantly is an orphan with no necessary connections to teach him such high level and dengerous ninjutsus .
So how could he learn such ninjutsus .
There are two possibilities that Nara Shikamaru could think off .
First that just like his wife has told him this boy in front of him is a genius and can learn ninjutsus and high level techniques just by looking others do it .
If it truly were the case then this boy in front of him is nothing but a once in a life time genius that can rival the likes of Namikaze Minato from past .
However it is the second possibility that concerns him .
And that is someone is by passing the authorities and the laws to illegally transfer shinobi related knowledge outside and Takeru somehow came in contact with such a person and learn the ninjutsu from them .
Even in this case this will only prove that Takeru is indeed a genius who can learn jutsus , so quickly in such a young age.
However the main problem of the situation is not that Takeru's genius but the fact that someone has been alluding them and selling dengerous shinobi related knowledge outside .
If this matter is not stopped and handled carefully this could lead to potential destruction and damage in the civilion population .
Specially if some irresponsible people gets hold of it .
Obviously what Iruka and Shikamaru can think our main character can also think of it.
( Author's Note : Hello guys I hope you all are doing well . So here many of you may have a question that why not just hide the main characters to strength and why come in front of so many people this early .
To answer that question I have considered some points that I would like to share with you :
First of all I have read many fanfictions where the main character is to hide his true strength and reveals only if necessary always making himself a lowkey figure in front of others . However in this fanfiction I wanted to try something different from that . I wanted to see that if I do exactly the opposite and have the main character so his strength to everyone and gain recognition and the spotlight how will the main character handle this situation what methods will he use to get around this problems of suspicions .
Secondly since Takeru already has Sanju Hashirama template it's only a matter of time before the wood release bloodline awakens within him and he cannot hide it forever . Even if he can hide the wood release there will be shinobies who can detect the huge amount of chakra within him that is obviously not normal for ordinary orphans and letter in that way if investigated the possibility of his secrets being revealed is also become high . So instead of finding out later and getting to the question why did you hide your strength and what is your real intentions it is better to face these problems early on and make a good impression of himself so that instead of suspicion he will be treated as a genius .
The third major reason of showing his true strength is that currently it is peace time going on and it is the perfect time when you can show your strength without attracting much negative attention and threatening situations like it was used to during the war times . When various villages would try to kill the opponents younger prodigious generations . And also the lack of a certain darkness of konoha meant that not much internal threads would also come after him .
The fourth major reason is that this system is about him being the new chosen one or the son of prophecy and just like Naruto the previous son of prophecy who couldn't sit an lowkey life , Takeru too will have to do the same . So for him coming into spotlight from the beginning is inhabitable .
These are the reasons why I have created the story in such a way where the main character will be come into the spotlight , again and again. I hope you will understand my reasoning and will like the story and for those who want to see a main character who will not come into the spotlight so recently and will hide his friend then I am afraid to say that this fan fiction is not for you so you can stop reading any further .

" Yes lord Shikamaru to answer your question it is actually quite simple I have a very good photographic memory that allows me to remember things for better than anyone else of my age. So during my training faces I have encountered many shinobies practicing , in the training grounds I usually hit behind trees and other places or just simply see them practicing from of and try to copy what they are doing . Hence , over the year I have picked up the three jutsus that I perform in the test today . " - said Takeru with a straight face as if just stating the fact .
" Are you sure about this young boy that you have not learnt this techniques from some other means ." - said Shikamaru adding a more sense of authority in his voice and trying to put pressure on Takeru .
But Takeru remained unfazed .
" Yes my lord . If you do not believe me my lord , you can just check in on the shinobies whom I have watched practicing and ask them if I was really present there when there were training or not . " - said Takeru still the same as ever .
This is the point on where most of Takeru's confidence lay .
In fact he knew from the beginning that a situation like right now would happen sooner or later and he would be questioned on this matters .
So for the past year he had been visiting the shinobi training ground and selected a few newly graduated shinobi teams to observe them carefully .
Reason he carefully choose a select few of the genin teams is because he wanted everything to be perfect so the teams he selected all practiced the ninjutsus which included what Takeru used in the test and those he didn't .
So whenever these genins trained under their jonin instructors, Takeru usually would watch from a distance and listen to their conversations and would make a face that would seem like he is genuinely listening to their conversation and trying to learn their are techniques .
Because he is just child who has yet to even enter The Academy along with his orphan status mostly non one of those shinobies care whether he was there trying to learn their techniques or not . In fact most of them laughed at his antics and just let him do what he wanted to do as long as he didn't get in their way or came to close for comfort .
This created a perfect cover for him to use in the future . And he can just simply say that I have seen those shinobies practicing and practice them myself to reach this level . If you want to question whether I am lying or not just ask those shinobies and they can justify it for themselves .
And as for the rest that's all his own brilliance and outstanding talents .
And this is not a lie either . Even without his template system his talents in shinobi arts is in the league above anyone else around his age .
And with the help of the template system his genius is on par with the geniuses of the past .
So with the proofs he had
left behind and Konoha's extensive experience with knowing prodigies coupled with the peace time era effect , he can effectively shield himself from the tipical suspicion challenge that most of the transmigrator faces .

" Alright ! We shall end this matter here . " - and just as Takeru expected Shikamaru decided not to pursue the matter any further .
But just as Takeru was about to sigh in relief , Shikamaru suddenly said something that shocked Takeru to point of breaking his carefully maintained calm and composed persona .
" Say Takeru how about you eat dinner at my place tonight . " - said Shikamaru with a smile .
This simple yet unexpected invitation throwed Takeru off his thinking as he couldn't ponder what this sudden invitation was about .
As he was thinking of response he heard sounds of snickering and giggling from the two adults infront of him who were trying their best not to laugh .
Seeing this only made his embarassing situation worse .
' Why are these emotions so hard to control ? ' - he thought to himself .
' Hmph ! Embarassing a kid and making fun of his dignity . You old people are truly shameless . ' - grumbled in his mind .
This however once again proved that how even well planned complex acts and plannings can fail infront of most simplest of situations .
( Author's Wise word : Nothing is predictable , such is life 😇 . )
" I ... I am honoured that you have invited me to your home lord Shikamaru but are you sure about this . " - after getting rid of his embarassment Tareku asked in his usual netural tone while stuttering a bit .
" Obviously it's alright . No need be so tense boy you can just relax in front of us . And tonight some of my family friends are going to come and you have already met the ladies of the house and their quite fond of you . So it will be better if you came ." - said Shikamaru .
" Thank you for your invitation and I would be glad to partake in the party but before that I must inform the orphanage about it . " - said Takeru as he stood up to leave .
" Alright then you can go back and inform the orphanage about it and then come to the Nara clan . There you just need to tell the guards about your visiting reason and they will escort you to my house . " - said Shikamaru .
After this Takeru left the room leaving the two adults in silence .
" So what do you think Shikamaru ? " - after sometime it was Iruka sensei who had remained mostly quiet in the previous discussion spoke up breaking the small silence .
" Sigh ! To be honest with you Iruka sensei , if what he said is just half true then he is a true genius . And if what he said is totally true then he is genius on par with the likes of Namikaze Minato the yellow flash . " - after releasing a sigh Shikamaru looked at the seat where Takeru was just a moment ago and answered to the question .
" Well he seemed a good kid only a little too much tough but from the way he reacted to your teasing it's obvious that he has a kid's heart and is just that he is more mature than his peers . And it's not like we have not seen kids like him before . " - said Iruka as to him it seemed although Tareku acted mature for his age he still was a child who when off gaurd can be flushed red with embarassment .
" You are right Iruka sensei and it's exactly because we have seen such mature child geniuses before that makes me worry , especially after seeing how many of them turned out to be . " - however Shikamaru ever the lazy one didn't seem to share the same feelings .
Hearing his old students words Iruka felt a little off and wanted to refute but stopped understanding that Shikamaru's reasoning was not wrong .
While he always tried to be optimistic and positive about things , as a seasoned shinobi he also understands that sometimes things are not as simple as it seems .
" Well I think everything will be fine and all we need to do is to guide such talents in the right direction . " - shaking his head off the bad thoughts Iruka returned to his usual optimistic self .
" Yes you are absolutely right Iruka sensei maybe I am thinking too much . Sigh ! all this work is taking a toll on me , I miss the time when I use to take a good sleep so much without so much worry . ' - said Shikamaru with another sigh remembering good old days .
" Haaa haaa ! "

So before continuing any further , if you are having some doubts about the main characters personality of being tense and always talking formally as if he is in a business meeting but then suddenly becomes embarassed on small matters then I have an explanation for you . As I have mentioned before this story will focus on various aspects including the character development of the main character and right now he is dealing with a lot of things like the scars of his previous life , his death , his new life , future threats , etc . So this odd behaviour you see is actually a part of the story and main character's character development itself and will play a part in the future chapters . So I hope for your patience and understanding . )
