Lucas closed his eyes, struggling to withstand the immense pressure falling upon his body. It felt as though the gaze of a vampire had fallen upon him. He took a few steps towards where the pressure came from.
With each step, the pressure only increased with no sign of stopping. Lucas closed his eyes and focused his own energy, evenly distributing it along his body, just below the amount required to change phase.
The pressure lightened and he rushed over to where the immense Mana had come from, expecting a true monster.

"Ah, miss Star, you're back! I assume you have come to see Mr. Adams?" The nurse at the reception spoke.
"Yes miss," Amanda replied, her voice calm and soothing.
She wore a purple and pink gown, her hair was tied in a ponytail and her amber eyes shined brightly.
"Alright, let me just..." The nurse looked at the computer and tapped a few times with mouse before her eyes widened.
"But... it says he was discharged" She said, her voice unsure.
Amanda's eyes widened. "What do you mean?" She asked. "Shouldn't you know? You would have discharged him."
"No... it says he was discharged around thirty minutes. And at that time, I was on break."
Amanda turned and rushed out of the hospital. 'Lucas got out but didn't... tell me?'

Amanda got out of the taxi in front of Opel. "Thank you!" She said after paying the driver.
She rushed to where the dorms were, just beyond the school ground.
But as she took a turn, her heart stopped at the sight in front of her.
Lucas was on top of a girl.[1]
[1] As in the two of them were on the ground. The girl had her back on the floor and Lucas was above her.
