"Is that the guy from the video?" Ishikawa asked as he was amazed at the speed and power of Aki.
"Seems like it! Do you think he needs help with that mutated dog?" Uroki asked Ishikawa.
"Tell your men to stand back and surround the area so it won't escape" Aki said to Yumi.
"Alright ... but if worst comes to worst we will just have to rain down heavy caliber on this beast" Yumi muttered the last part and commanded her people to stand back.
The giant tiger sized dog started to circle around Aki before jumping at him with its mouth open.
Akimitsu quickly threw a fast and powerful spinning kick at the mutated dog and as soon their attack connected the air vibrated and a loud noise was heard from the collision.
The giant dog was blown away and thrown off guard, while Aki didn't waste time and followed up with a Spinning hook kick to its liver which was followed up by a taekwondo style reverse side kick completely crushing the dog rib cage, killing it.
Akimitsu then took the spiritual core and was about to leave when Yumi called out to him.
"Wait, thanks for helping us, helping the S.D.B, if possible we would like to recruit you" Yumi spoke to Akimitsu as ordered by the higher ups of S.D.B.
"What can you offer me?" Aki asked.
"Well, members of Spiritual Defense Bureau can enjoy resources provide by the government, also the Bureau is not strict to the members allowing them high degree of freedom finally long as members contribute to the cause they can enjoy high ranking positions in the country and all of this can be better depending on your rank in the S.D.B" Yumi spoke highly of the S.D.B and it was not a lie.
"I can see that they are sincere, very well, I will join!" Akimitsu agreed to the offer as the government backing can be crucial, especially since they give a high amount of freedom.
"By the way you are the guy from the video right?" Uroki asked Aki.
"You mean the one from last night? That's me" Aki answered, not needing to hide anymore.
"You must be a powerful awakener," Ishikawa praised.
'Technically I wasn't an awakener before but after Mikey template got upgraded, I was' Aki didn't answer Ishikawa but nodded.
Aki, Uroki, Ishikawa and Yumi get in the car and drive away as the remaining people carry the dog corpse and clean up the area.
Along the way Yumi explained to Aki about spiritual revival and the S.D.B.

"We are here" Yumi said as we got out of the car and entered the base of S.D.B, inside the facility was quite advanced and there were a lot of people.
"Are there so many awakeners?" Akimitsu asked Yumi.
"No, most of the people here are not awakeners, awakeners are still rare since the first wave of spiritual energy hasn't arrived yet" That right what happening right now was just the tip of the iceberg, when the first wave arrives, there will be more chaos.
"Uroki, Isikawa wait outside" Yumi said as the group reached the office of Hiroki.
"Welcome, thank you for your hard work Yumi, and you must be Akimitsu" Yumi and Aki entered the office and were greeted by Hiroki.
"Please sit and would you like a coffee or tea?" Hiroki asked as Aki and Yumi sat down.
"Tea please," Aki requested.
"I'll take coffee" Yumi spoke.
Hiroki pressed some buttons and soon a woman entered the room with a cup of coffee and a cup of tea, placed them down and left the room.
"Let's get to business" Hiroki then spoke to Aki about important stuff.
After a few minutes Aki came out of the office with Yumi.
"Let's get you assigned to a rank" Yumi then took Aki to the practical room which contains exercise equipment, strength testing equipment and many more.

After running through some tests, it was determined that Aki is Rank S and his ability was written down as "Superior Physique".
Although it was not wrong, the physique was just the basic of his templates, there was more to it.
Yumi then handed Aki a phone which can be used to communicate with awakeners, take on missions, track mutated animals, etc.
After which Yumi gave Aki a tour of the base.
"And that's all, you are free to return home or if you like you can move to a special luxury house that is provided to awakeners by the government" Yumi told Aki and gave him the keys.
"While I won't be moving from my house it is indeed good to have a second safe house, so I will take the keys" Aki accepted and returned to his house.

After dinner, Aki looked through the spiritual phone that Yumi gave him and scrolled through the missions, and suddenly a new mission popped up.

"Interesting, is this the apartment of the girl that was live streaming when I killed the mutated giant cat?!" Aki thought as he accepted this mission and planned to go to the location tomorrow morning.
