Bella arrived back in the kingdom in a luxurious carriage, decorated for the comfort of its passenger.
The seat was made of the softest leather, and pillows of various sizes were scattered around. The table was filled with wine and fruits.
Bella was lying on the seat with her lover, feeding her grapes while reading the book she held.
"My lady, wouldn't your mother complain about your long stay in the neighboring kingdom?" the man asked, his voice filled with worry and reluctance to bear the countess's anger.
"Oh~ what's there to worry about, just her usual ranting. Don't ruin my mood by mentioning mother." Bella dismissed him with a wave and opened her mouth to take the fruit he offered.
"My lady, we have reached the estate!" the guard shouted from outside, and Bella clicked her tongue in dissatisfaction, wishing the journey were longer.
