When we next roused our small group was already readying breakfast and packing their stuff away. We'd somehow made it through a few rounds last night without making too much noise. Unfortunately, we couldn't cover up other aspects that indicated we had been enjoying ourselves a few feet away from them.
Besides my hair being a little untamed and in need of a good brush, Eryx's scent was all over me. I lavished in it. My wolf preened in it. As did Eryx. He smirked as he breathed me in, licking my mate mark on the back of my neck. I nipped his jaw before sitting up, noting my scent all over him too.
"Put your clothes on ya lovesick puppies," Kharis teased as he tossed our clothes at us. I was going to take a quick dip in the sea to freshen up but my mate's wolf whined in my mind through the bond.
