Chapter 1155 - Chapter 1150: Advancement and Surprises

A whirlwind of thoughts zipped through Seimei's mind, but he quickly reined them in and focused.

Standing still, he took a moment to catch his breath and fully recover. Then, with a thought, he activated Flying Thunder God Jutsu and teleported straight to the primitive forests in the northeastern Land of Fire.

It was already evening—time to work on his Sharingan's evolution.

His vision shifted in a flash.

Surrounded by the familiar forest, Seimei didn't hesitate. He immediately cast Multiple Shadow Clone Jutsu.

In two batches, he summoned five hundred sixty shadow clones.

Four hundred of them, under his direction, scattered throughout the forest to keep absorbing natural energy, replenishing what he'd used up during the day from his abdominal sealing space.

The remaining one hundred sixty clones split into smaller groups to practice fusing the seven chakra nature transformations.

Watching them head off, Seimei found a spot, sat cross-legged, and began casting Mirror Heart Jutsu to push his Sharingan's evolution.

Time ticked by steadily.

Six hours passed in a blink.

It was now deep into the night.

Seimei stopped training and opened his panel to check his progress.

Seeing the Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan had gained 150 evolution points over those six hours, he nodded, satisfied.

"Ha…"

Yawning deeply, Seimei cast Flying Thunder God Jutsu again, returning to Moon Island to rest.

For the next six days, he kept up this routine, taking one day to rest back in the village. By the seventh day, his Chakra Control leveled up.

That's right—Chakra Control!

That morning, after finishing another round of Body of the Extreme training and returning to Moon Island, Seimei dispelled Multiple Shadow Clone Jutsu. As he absorbed and processed the past hour's training experience and memories from his clones, his Chakra Control finally broke through.

He wasn't too shocked.

After all, half a month ago, when his Constitution stat leveled up, his Chakra Control proficiency was already at lv9 (97,940/100,000).

Based on his progress, it'd take about half a month to scrape together the last 2,000-ish proficiency points.

Even though he'd rested for two days, cutting the time short, the extra shadow clones he'd assigned to Bloodline Network development had sped up his proficiency gains. So, leveling up early wasn't a big surprise.

What he cared about now was what reaching lv10 (0/0)—the perfect mastery level—would bring him.

With that thought, Seimei focused, diving into the flood of insights that came with the skill's upgrade.

Time slipped by.

About half an hour later, he opened his eyes.

He stood there, stunned, for a long moment.

Then, he stretched out his right palm.

A ball of chakra formed in his hand, shaping into a sphere with chakra swirling rapidly inside—classic A-rank ninjutsu, the Rasengan.

People always said that was the peak of chakra shape transformation.

But now…

With a thought, Seimei made the sphere dissolve and reform into a small bird. Under his control, it hopped around in his palm like a real, living energy creature.

And that wasn't all.

Another thought, and the bird turned into an eagle.

Its beak opened, letting out a sharp cry, before it launched from his palm, soaring around him in a graceful arc and then returning to his hand.

It all felt so natural!

Over the next few minutes, that chakra morphed into all kinds of creatures under his control—birds in the sky, beasts on land, fish in water. Every single one was so lifelike.

If anyone else saw this, their jaws would hit the floor.

Even Seimei himself hadn't expected Chakra Control hitting lv10 to bring such a massive change.

His command over chakra had reached an almost unreal level.

Pulling the chakra back, he tested it with a ninjutsu.

No surprise there: it used way less chakra than before.

Now, he could unleash stronger ninjutsu with far less chakra.

What's that? You think it's pointless?

Sure, his chakra reserves were massive, and they'd only grow bigger in the future—maybe it seemed like he didn't need to care about saving a little chakra.

But saving is a virtue. Who knows? One day, that tiny bit of chakra might make the difference in beating an enemy!

Okay, maybe that's unlikely, but better safe than sorry.

Plus, his tests showed he wasn't saving just a little—it was a whopping thirty to forty percent less chakra.

Of course, that was for ninjutsu. Other tasks might not see the same savings.

Still, no matter how you sliced it, better chakra control would definitely boost his other training efforts.

With that in mind, Seimei didn't waste another second and jumped into testing.

Like always, he cast Multiple Shadow Clone Jutsu twice, summoning five hundred sixty shadow clones.

After sending them off, he used Flying Thunder God Jutsu to teleport back to the volcano beneath Moon Island for another round of body strengthening.

And right away, he noticed a difference.

Before, even in Sage Mode, controlling his sage chakra felt smooth but not quite perfect.

But now? After both Natural Energy Control and Chakra Control hit lv10 (0/0) mastery, things had changed.

Controlling sage chakra was as easy as breathing—like it was second nature. Wherever he wanted the chakra to go, it went, no questions asked.

It was silky smooth.

This let him save a ton of chakra without even trying.

Seimei was thrilled, but he didn't slow down.

An hour later, he wrapped up the training round. With a thought, he teleported back to Moon Island's surface.

As usual, he waited for his body to heal naturally, then dispelled Multiple Shadow Clone Jutsu, recalling all his clones.

A flood of memories poured in, along with a rush of chakra and natural energy.

Following his routine, he sorted and stored the chakra and energy first, then dug into the memories, absorbing and processing their training experience.
