Chapter 1152 - Chapter 1147: Progress and Adjustments

Two hours passed in a flash.

Finally, Seimei reined in all his mental energy.

When he opened his eyes again, the mental energy that had previously spiraled out of control had completely vanished.

Now, every bit of it was back under his command.

Seimei tested his mental energy, giving it a little nudge.

At first, it felt a bit unfamiliar.

But after a moment of adjustment, that feeling faded. While he wasn't yet at the point of wielding it as naturally as an extension of himself, he was pretty darn close.

After all, this surge of mental energy came from his own soul—it was a part of him.

Speaking of that surge, Seimei quickly sensed his current state.

Compared to before, he concluded that this boost to his Spirit attribute had spiked his mental energy by about 80%.

Yup, 80%. That's how crazy it was.

This was the effect of a qualitative leap.

Seimei couldn't help but feel thrilled.

"Phew~"

Letting out a soft breath, he took a bit more time to adjust before testing the changes this brought.

First up: his theoretical chakra limit.

Seimei focused, fully activating the Chakra Refinement Technique to tap into his potential while keeping an eye on the chakra limit displayed on his panel.

Time ticked by, second by second.

Ten minutes passed in a blink.

But this time, Seimei didn't stop.

Why? Because after yesterday's boost to his Physique attribute, his potential ceiling had shot up so high that ten minutes wasn't enough to get an accurate read on his theoretical chakra limit.

So, he kept going for a full twenty minutes before stopping.

Seimei opened his panel, checked the changes in his chakra limit, and then sensed his body, comparing its state before and after those twenty minutes.

In the end, he concluded that this Spirit boost had raised his theoretical chakra limit by 15 million points.

Yup, 15 million points.

This increase, while not as massive as the 34 million points he'd gained from yesterday's Physique boost, was still way higher than the 9.5 million points he'd gotten when his Spirit went from 38 to 39.

No doubt about it—this was another sign of a qualitative leap.

And this was with some of his potential suppressed due to the gap between his mental and physical strength.

If that weren't the case, given the surge in his mental energy, the increase should've been even bigger.

But Seimei wasn't in a rush.

Once his Physique hit 40, that suppressed potential would be unleashed again.

Pushing those thoughts aside, Seimei calmed himself and moved on to test the second change: his chakra recovery rate.

As usual, he paused the Chakra Refinement Technique.

Then, he stayed still, letting his body naturally recover chakra while monitoring the Chakra changes on his panel.

This time, he didn't need to extend the test.

Ten minutes later, he stopped.

His panel showed an increase of 801,389 chakra points.

Ten minutes equaled 801,389 points. An hour would be 4,808,334 points. And over a full 24-hour day, that came to roughly 115.4 million points.

In other words, with enough energy, he could recover up to 115.4 million chakra points daily.

Yesterday, that number was 105.4 million.

So, this Spirit boost had increased his chakra recovery rate by 10 million points.

While this wasn't as much as the 17 million points from yesterday's Physique boost, it was still way more than the 6 million points he'd gained when his Spirit went from 38 to 39.

Clearly, this was another sign of the qualitative leap from breaking past 40 in his Spirit attribute.

Seimei was just as thrilled about this.

With this extra 10 million points, his daily chakra surplus would jump from the previously calculated 12.618 million points to 22.618 million points.

Of course, as always, this was just a temporary number. Once he adjusted his training plan, it would change again.

Speaking of adjustments…

He'd already tested his body's endurance yesterday.

Next up was figuring out the optimal number of shadow clones for efficiently developing the Bloodline Net and the number needed for absorbing natural energy to support his physical enhancement.

With that thought, he didn't waste any time. He closed the panel, swallowed several enhanced soldier pills to replenish the energy he'd used, and formed hand signs to perform the Multiple Shadow Clone Technique.

Bang bang bang~

As clouds of chakra smoke dispersed, 500 shadow clones appeared on the field.

Seimei planned to have all of them absorb natural energy—100 more than before.

Hmm, is that enough?

The thought crossed his mind as he formed hand signs again, using the Wood Clone Technique to create a single wood clone.

He sealed the shadow clones into a scroll and handed it to the wood clone, who would take it to the primal forest in the northeastern Land of Fire to absorb natural energy.

Next, Seimei tapped into the chakra stored in the interdimensional space at his forehead, refilling his chakra reserves. Then, he began summoning clones to work on the Bloodline Net.

Given the significant boost to his mental energy, he went big, summoning 120 shadow clones right off the bat.

That was a third more than the previous 90.

After sending those clones off, Seimei activated the Flying Thunder God Technique with a thought, teleporting instantly to the volcano beneath Moon Island.

Slipping into Sage Mode in a split second, he began enhancing his body.

Testing was testing, but he couldn't neglect estimating how long it would take for his next physical transformation.

That required long-term training to figure out.

So, he couldn't afford to slack off for even a moment.

Time ticked by, second by second.

An hour passed quickly.

Seimei paused his The Extreme of the Body training and returned to Moon Island.

He dispelled the Multiple Shadow Clone Technique, recalled all his shadow clones, and began reviewing their training results from the past hour.

Fifteen minutes later, he reached a conclusion: neither the number of clones absorbing natural energy nor those developing the Bloodline Net was enough.

So, he decisively bumped the former up to 550 and the latter to 125.

And with that, a new round of training began.

The hours that followed were a cycle of repetition, until…

Evening arrived!
