At the same time.

On the edge of the battlefield, Shikaku Nara, who was overseeing the fight, stared at the sprawling vines covering the area. Something clicked in his mind, and his eyes widened in disbelief. "How is this possible?"

Though he had never witnessed the First Hokage's prowess in person, the Nara clan, as one of the early families to settle in Konoha, had meticulously recorded the village's history.

And naturally, the First Hokage, Hashirama Senju—revered as the "God of Shinobi"—was a key figure in those records.

The Nara clan's archives detailed his Wood Release abilities extensively. While the scene before Shikaku wasn't as grandiose as the tales of Hashirama's Wood Release, the fact that it could suppress the Nine-Tails—even a weakened one—was astonishing enough.

But as far as he knew, the village's experiments to recreate Wood Release had failed. Sure, there were rumors that when the Anbu took over the remnants of the Root organization, they'd acquired a test subject with Wood Release.

But that test subject didn't have anywhere near this kind of power.

So, who was this mysterious figure?

Shikaku's mind was buzzing with questions as he fixed his gaze on Seimei, trying to pierce through his disguise and figure out his identity.

Just then, two figures appeared at his side.

One was a burly man wielding an iron staff—the head of the Akimichi clan, Choza Akimichi, the "Butterfly" of the previous generation's Ino-Shika-Cho trio.

The other was slimmer, exuding a calm, calculating aura. This was Haiichi Yamanaka, the current head of the Yamanaka clan and a seasoned intelligence expert who held a key role in the village's intelligence division.

His role in the trio was the "Boar," symbolizing his sharp, boar-like instincts.

As soon as they appeared, both turned their eyes to Shikaku, their gazes full of unspoken questions.

Having worked together for two or three decades, the trio's understanding was near-telepathic. Shikaku instantly knew they were asking if he had any clue about the mysterious figure's identity.

He could only shake his head slightly, signaling he didn't know.

Immediately, Choza and Haiichi's expressions grew serious, their full attention locking onto Seimei.

At that moment, Shikaku spoke up. "Haiichi?"

Haiichi turned back to him. "What do you need, Shikaku?"

Shikaku nodded and lowered his voice. "Can you locate the Hyuga clan leader right now?"

Without asking why, Haiichi closed his eyes and extended his senses, searching for Hiashi Hyuga.

As a master of the Yamanaka clan's mind-based techniques, Haiichi's mental prowess was formidable. By fully unleashing his perception, he could cover the entire battlefield.

Earlier, when chaos had erupted in the village, the Hyuga clan, led by Hiashi, had joined the fray, using their Byakugan to help identify the disguised White Zetsu clones.

Though their efforts hadn't panned out, the Hyuga ninjas had stayed on the battlefield.

So it didn't take long for Haiichi to locate Hiashi, who was directing his clan's ninjas in combat.

Opening his eyes, he looked at Shikaku. "Found him."

"Good," Shikaku said, exhaling softly. "Haiichi, send a request to the Hyuga clan leader right away. Tell them to keep a close eye on that guy. We can't let the Nine-Tails fall into someone else's hands."

Haiichi glanced at Seimei, still standing in front of the Nine-Tails, and nodded. He began forming hand signs, using the Mind Body Transmission Technique to relay the message to Hiashi.

Though it sounded like a lengthy exchange, it all happened in just a few breaths.

By this time, Seimei had finished his preparations.

He turned to the still-struggling Nine-Tails, raised the metal sphere in his palm, and called out, "Seal!"

The quiet command seemed to strike the Nine-Tails' core, causing its struggles to falter for a moment.

In the next instant, fifteen chakra chains shot out from the metal sphere, piercing through the massive net of vines with precision and wrapping around the Nine-Tails.

The chains bound its limbs, neck, torso, and all nine tails, tying it up tightly.

"Retract!" Seimei called again.

With a clattering sound, the fifteen chains tightened, binding the Nine-Tails even more securely.

The beast snapped out of its daze. Though its main consciousness was still under Obito's genjutsu, consumed by rage, its survival instincts kicked in, and it began clawing at the chakra chains, trying to tear them off.

But Seimei wasn't giving it a chance.

He stomped the ground, channeling a surge of sage chakra into the earth. The chakra flowed through the underground network of vines, reinforcing the ones binding the Nine-Tails and making them even stronger, immobilizing the beast.

Seizing the moment, Seimei poured his full effort into the All-Encompassing Seal, slowly retracting the fifteen chains and pulling the Nine-Tails toward the metal sphere.

The Nine-Tails' massive form began to shrink, dropping below a hundred meters in no time.

As time passed, its size dwindled even faster.

Sensing its impending fate, the Nine-Tails briefly broke free of Obito's genjutsu and let out a furious roar at Seimei, struggling harder and even attempting to form a Tailed Beast Bomb.

But it was too late.

After just a few moments of resistance, Seimei's power overwhelmed it, and the chains' retraction speed surged.

"ROAR!"

With one final, unwilling roar, the Nine-Tails was fully sucked into the metal sphere in Seimei's hand.

Immediately, intricate sealing patterns appeared on the sphere's surface, lingering without fading.

This made the sphere in Seimei's palm stand out conspicuously.

Seimei frowned slightly, probing the sphere with his mental energy. Inside, the Nine-Tails was still struggling.

Just as he'd expected, the Nine-Tails' power far surpassed the other tailed beasts. Even sealed, it couldn't be fully subdued right away.

After all, no matter how well-crafted the metal sphere was, it was just an object—not comparable to a jinchuriki, especially one from the Uzumaki clan.

The result? The seal had to remain active at all times to keep the Nine-Tails' power in check, which was why the sealing patterns wouldn't fade.

But that didn't matter. Now that the Nine-Tails was sealed in the container, there was no way it was escaping.

The real question was: how was he going to get out of here?

That's right—escape.

While dealing with the Nine-Tails, the Konoha ninjas had held back from attacking him, the mysterious stranger.

But now? That wasn't guaranteed.

Seimei turned around, noticing the Konoha ninjas subtly gathering around him. With a scoff, he said, "What? Is this how Konoha treats its saviors?"

At his words, the ninjas hesitated, their steps faltering and their gazes wavering, some avoiding his eyes.

Just then, Shikaku Nara, the one leading the battle, stepped forward.
