Chapter 643 - Chapter 641: Notification

After reviewing the benefits brought by the increase in his 'spirit' attribute and planning his cultivation for the near future, Seimei stopped focusing on his status panel.

Once he closed it, he decided not to continue practicing the "Impression Technique."

Initially, in order to reach the (30,000/50,000) progress mark for the evolution of his Sharingan as quickly as possible, Seimei had exceeded his usual training schedule, practicing the "Impression Technique" more times than planned.

Now that the goal had been achieved, there was no need to persist further.

Seimei glanced at his chakra reserves. While they hadn't dropped to their lowest point, he decided not to wait any longer.

With that thought in mind, Seimei ignored the chakra expenditure and began practicing the last ninjutsu on his schedule for the day: the Multi-Shadow Clone Jutsu.

For a while, the forest was filled with flickering shadows. Seimei's figure appeared and disappeared repeatedly.

During this process, his understanding of the Multi-Shadow Clone Jutsu continued to grow.

Immersed in the thrill of skill improvement, Seimei trained until he met his daily training quota. Only then did he stop.

By this time, an hour and a half had passed since he began practicing the technique.

Seimei closed his eyes, and his training plan for the day quickly flashed through his mind.

Once he confirmed that everything was completed, he reopened his eyes.

"Inhale… exhale…"

He took a deep breath and slowly let it out.

Standing where he was, Seimei stretched his body with a satisfying yawn.

After a while, he extinguished the campfire and dragged his fatigued body away.

Raising his hands to form seals, he activated the Wind Style: Wind Wings and Chakra Cloak techniques.

In an instant, his entire body became a streak of green light, flying at incredible speed toward Sand River City.

Without alerting anyone, Seimei silently entered Sand River City and returned to his residence.

Once home, he fell into bed and slept deeply.

The night passed without incident.

The Next Day

In the early morning, Seimei woke up early and, after a quick wash, headed to the cafeteria.

After breakfast, he was about to leave a shadow clone behind and head back to yesterday's training site when a voice called out to him.

"Jonin Seimei, please wait!"

Hearing this, Seimei turned around to see a Konoha Chunin.

The person looked somewhat familiar, and after a brief moment of recollection, Seimei remembered that he was one of Yūhi Shinku's subordinates.

Looking at the man, Seimei spoke directly. "What's the matter?"

The visitor wasted no time and said promptly, "Jonin Seimei, the captain requests your presence at the command center."

"The command center?"

Seimei murmured softly. Without asking further questions about the matter, he nodded and replied, "Alright, I understand."

The Chunin acknowledged his response and hurried off.

Watching him leave, Seimei stood in place for a moment. After roughly guessing the reason, he began heading toward the command center.

A few minutes later, at the command center, inside the meeting room...

Seimei listened calmly as Yūhi Shinku announced the upcoming plans for their return to the village.

That's right. This time, they weren't called together for any major event. The purpose of summoning the jōnin was simply to inform them about the village's next arrangements.

Previously, the village had decided to keep them stationed on the front lines for a little longer to prevent unforeseen incidents.

Now, after half a month, the situation had completely stabilized, and there was no longer a need for so many people here. Thus, the village began organizing the gradual return of these front-line ninjas.

According to the village's plan, Seimei was scheduled to return in a week as part of a hundred-man team.

At the same time, he was tasked with an escort mission.

Although the war had just ended and the overall situation seemed stable, there was always the risk of a rogue combatant stirring up trouble behind the scenes.

These were sensitive times. If something were to go wrong and wasn't handled properly, it could reignite the flames of war.

Moreover, certain groups and factions that had grown in power during the war also needed to be monitored.

Therefore, even within the borders of the Land of Fire, returning teams from the front lines required the escort of jōnin-level ninjas.

Of course, escorting wasn't the only responsibility. The teams also needed to safeguard critical supplies.

Seimei's mission was to return in a week, alongside two other Konoha jōnin, escorting both personnel and materials back to the village.

Thinking about it, he realized he hadn't returned to Konoha in over two years.

Back then, after the Chūnin Exams, he was still a rookie.

Now, he had grown into an elite jōnin.

Reflecting on the past two years, Seimei felt his life had been both busy and fulfilling.

As for danger?

Thanks to always having a trump card up his sleeve, he hadn't encountered many truly perilous situations.

Overall, life had been relatively smooth.

While Seimei's thoughts wandered, Yūhi Shinku concluded her speech: "Alright, everyone. That's the plan. Prepare yourselves accordingly!"

"Yes!"

With a unified response, the group dispersed to carry out their tasks.

After leaving the command post, Seimei glanced around, paused briefly, and then performed the Shadow Clone Jutsu, creating a clone of himself.

He nodded at the clone and said, "I'll leave things here to you. I'm heading out."

The clone gave him an exasperated look and replied weakly, "Got it."

Ignoring the clone's attitude, Seimei found a secluded corner and left Sand River City.

Once he was a safe distance away, he activated Wind Release: Wind Wings and Chakra Feather Cloak, heading toward his destination.

Before long, he arrived at his training spot from recent weeks.

As usual, he released the Guardian Seal on his forehead, activated his Byakugan, and flew around the area to confirm there was no one else nearby before landing.

Wasting no time, he used the Multi-Shadow Clone Jutsu, creating six clones.

After assigning tasks to each clone, Seimei began practicing the Palm Sage Technique and Reflection of the Mind Technique.

For the former, he could already feel his physical limits becoming more apparent.

This indicated that he was nearing a breakthrough.

As for the latter, since reaching its perfected state at level 9 (0/0), each use brought noticeable progress in the evolution of his Sharingan.

The synergy of these techniques fueled Seimei's passion for training.

Even though it was monotonous, he never grew tired of it.

Before he knew it, it was late at night.

After wrapping up his day's training, Seimei returned to Sand River City. After briefly catching up on the day's events in the city, he went to bed.

The next day, he followed the same routine. Leaving a shadow clone to handle mundane tasks, he headed to his training spot.

For the next few days, Seimei maintained this rhythm—leaving early, returning late, dedicating his time to either training or traveling to and from his training location. His days were nothing short of fulfilling.
