One day, the internet was flooded with news about Jackson Chen.

Even amidst all this, Jackson had garnered a surprising number of admirers.

They were like obsessive fans from a past life, the kind that worshipped celebrities.

These people were captivated by Jackson Chen's flawless crimes and his ability to toy with the entire world.

One by one, they shouted his praises online, even going as far as creating a dedicated website for him.

Upon opening the webpage, a strange piece of music played.

At the front of the site, a video looped endlessly, with images of a defeated and deranged Captain America displayed on either side.

Rumors and posts, tinged with madness, covered the page:

"Jackson Chen—The greatest criminal mastermind of this era!"

"Pray to the Avengers, you self-righteous fools. Don't even think about catching him; you're mere idiots compared to him!"

"As a filmmaker, I'll use Jackson Chen as a muse to create the most perfect crime film in history!"

"What a brilliant design! What a thrilling outcome! I can feel my brain tingling. One day, these so-called heroes will crumble!"

Jackson Chen frowned as he skimmed these fanatical comments, but soon something else caught his attention.

A peculiar avatar.

It was a portrait of a man with thick, smeared oil paint on his face and a comical red nose.

The user ID was simple—Joker.

A clown?

Jackson found it curious. In this world, the Joker didn't have much popularity. Even though Gotham City existed, the Joker had yet to make any major moves.

As a result, his posts were buried beneath the flood of comments. However, this avatar and ID immediately drew Jackson Chen's attention.

"Dear Mr. Jackson Chen, you are the most fascinating normal person I've ever encountered... Though I'm sorry I can't categorize you as one of us, you possess the same spirit."

"That's the spirit of madness, apathy, and the quest to stimulate our very souls!"

"I look forward to meeting you. Feel free to contact me anytime."

At the end of the short message was the contact info and a signature—Joker.

Jackson Chen fell into deep thought.

Based on the world's data, he surmised that this was a world where Marvel, DC, mutants, and other dimensions were merged.

At one point, there had even been mentions of Gotham City. Yet, curiously, the Joker, who should have been a terrifying figure, had yet to rise to infamy.

It made him wonder—if the world was truly integrated, then beings like Superman, Batman, Aquaman, Deadpool, Wolverine, and others must all exist.

This meant that a large number of powerful heroes were still lurking in the shadows, including top figures like Professor X and the Ancient One.

The pressure on Jackson wasn't small at all!

But that's what made the game fun, wasn't it?

If every opponent were as easy to deal with as Captain America, then the excitement and purpose of this new life would be greatly diminished.

Since he planned to make a spectacle, he wasn't afraid of the size of the fish he could reel in.

Jackson Chen smiled faintly and dialed the number from the Joker's message.

The location was Gotham City.

Soon, someone answered. The background was noisy, like a celebration was in progress.

The sound of strange and crazed cheering filled the line.

Suddenly, a gunshot rang out, followed by a scream, and everything fell silent.

Then, a hoarse voice crackled over the line: "Hee-hee... Apologies, sir. This is the Joker Club."

"We were just having a little party. What do you need?"

"Do you want someone killed, or is there another errand to run?"

"Of course, as the Joker always says, it's gotta be funny, or else... Hahaha, that's just no fun at all."

The voice on the other end sounded completely deranged, laughing maniacally. Two more gunshots echoed through the receiver.

After the thud of two bodies hitting the floor, the cheers erupted again.

Jackson lightly tapped his fingers on the table and spoke calmly, "Joker?"

"Didn't you want me to come to you?"

"How about we set a time to meet?"

There was a brief pause on the other end, then a burst of wild laughter and a barrage of gunshots.

"Oh shhh... Hahahahaha! So much fun!"

"So much fun! Hahahahaha!"

The laughter was filled with excitement, so intense it became hoarse, like someone being strangled at its peak.

Finally, the sound on the other side of the phone returned to an eerie calm.

"Dear Mr. Jackson Chen, I didn't expect you to contact me yourself."

"How about we meet the day after tomorrow? That big ol' lady in New York City who symbolizes freedom?"

"Oh, I just love her curves, hahaha."

Jackson Chen agreed and hung up.

In that short exchange, he could feel the sheer malice and distortion of the Joker.

This was an unrestrained monster, one without any plan, who did whatever he pleased.

He had no morals, no boundaries—everything was dictated by his whims.

In some ways, Jackson Chen realized he and the Joker were more alike than he initially thought.

After making the call, Jackson stood up.

As diligent as always, Jackson Chen knew that New York would have a major event waiting for him tomorrow, and this time, he would be the star.

The crime spree, planned to last for thirty days, couldn't afford any interruptions.

With a clear plan in mind, he walked toward downtown New York, each step bringing him closer to his next move.

The address provided by the system was in a somewhat remote location. Given its secrecy, Jackson was certain that this would indeed be a grand reward.

Judging by the name of the address, it seemed to be a warehouse or perhaps a basement—something hidden and spacious.

The land area was likely large, leaving Jackson to wonder what could possibly be stored inside.

As he inched closer to the location, his heart raced faster with each step.

He had a gut feeling that whatever was stored there would not only surprise him but shock him to his core!
