My feet stomp on the hard wooden floor of the hunter ship as I run quickly up the stairs leading to the top of the deck. My hand raises as I block the sun out of my eyes as I see the five dragons flying over the fleet and shooting fire at the many different ships. I groan as I slowly see that the main ship of the fleet that has moved to far away from my ship. I quickly summon one of my swords as a shot from the gronckle comes toward the ship I am on.
"Incoming!!!!!" One of the dragon hunters yells the shot comes closer and closer. I quickly run up and jump hitting it mid air as I land back on the deck. I sigh as I hear the cheering from the crew before looking back at the sky where the gronckle is being brought down by a dragon proof chain. I quickly jump again continually blocking blast after blast.
"The hell is he?" Snotlout yells as he flies past with hookfang blowing flames. Summoning my second blade I spin them quickly dissipating the fire before there is no more fire. Another dragon comes flying toward me this time a zippleback with two blondes sitting on each head. Picking up a piece of broken wood aiming it at the flying two headed dragon and pulling my hand back before I throw it. It flies through the air before hitting the point in the middle of the two heads on the dragon as it sputters as its wings stop working and it falls to the deck of the ship I am on.
"Ah fuck that hurt. Why didn't you dodge Ruffnut." Tuffnut's words come out in splutters as he slowly sits up looking around the deck of the ship where many hunters are tying down the dragon and with swords to the sibling's necks. They raise their hands as they see the blades. I sigh before looking back at the main ship where Heather is as the two siblings continue arguing. I notice that the night fury and the Monstrous Nightmare are flying off into the distance.
I shake my head and sigh as I see the main ship moving alongside the ship I am on. I sigh and smile as I see Heather on the top of the deck with Windshear looking over and waving toward me. I smile and wave back as the ships fully align and a bridge is placed between them allowing for the hunters to move the twins and the zippleback at some point. I give a quick glance before I turn and jump over to the main ship and standing next to and looking down at the beautiful black haired and green eyed woman.
"How are you feeling after the fight?" I smile down at her as I ask and give her a soft hug enjoying the feeling of her body against mine.
"Ah I feel good it has been a long time since I got to fight someone as skilled as Astrid." Her words are soft as she leans into the hug. I smile as I slowly pet her head and long lush hair. "But also it didn't feel nice fighting my friends like that." I sigh but still smile softly as I hear her soft whisper and continue patting her head.
"Ah don't worry it is part of what we signed up for and plus with me here you know that no one will hurt you or anyone you care about." I smile as I feel and see the heat rise on her face as it gets red. Both mine and Heathers head turns as we some kind of noise behind us only to see Windshear pretending to vomit as she looks at us. Both me and Heather smile shaking our heads as the dragon raises her head opening the her mouth with sharp teeth and laughing.
"Hey Heather, Lila you want to come meet the prisoners." I sigh but nod as I look down at Heather and see her nod. We both look at Windshear and tell her to stay up here while we are downstairs. I sigh as follow behind both Ryker and Heather as we move down to the lower deck and to the dragon pens which also apparently act as prisoner cells. I sigh as I walk past Dagur and he follows behind me.
"Ready to meet Heathers old friends." I nod and smile softly as I hear the mock in his voice as he probably thinks that they are not friends and just faking to infiltrate the dragon hunters.
"Heather how could you. You were our friend how could you go against dragons and us?" Astrids words are very convincing as she speaks through pain.
"because family means everything." As she says this she wraps her arms around both me and Dagur holding us close. I smile softly as I realise how she now considers me family. I look over and kiss her on the lips shocking even Astrid as I don't think even she knew about it.
