Chapter 13 - chapter 12

Vin stared at Kai for a few seconds before finally shrugging.

Vin Jin: "Yeah... why not? I mean, there are a lot of people in this gang."

Kai grinned.

Kai: "Good choice."

Vin started walking away, but then suddenly stopped and looked back.

kai : "Oh, yeah. Before I go... can I get Mary Kim's number?"

vin blinked.

Kai: "Sure. What's her number?"

Vin immediately shook his head.

Vin Jin: "Nah. Ask her yourself."

Kai: "...Well, alright. I'll do it."

kai walked away, leaving vin standing there.

Kai: "That guy really wasn't going to give me her number."

Kai: "Whatever."

Kai's POV

Walking back toward school, I couldn't help but laugh to myself.

Kai: "Damn, going back to school is crazy."

Honestly, school wasn't even difficult anymore. Everything felt ridiculously easy compared to what I was capable of.

Kai: "I wish my little brother was here."

I sighed.

Kai: "He was actually good at fashion. Me? I'm fucking terrible at that stuff."

I looked down at my clothes.

Kai: "Whatever. I'll figure it out eventually."

So far, everything was going according to plan.

Logan was in Heavenly Dragon.

Zack was in Heavenly Dragon.

Vin was now in Heavenly Dragon.

And soon, I'd have even more monsters under my command.

But there was one person I still needed to deal with.

Kai: "Hmm... should I recruit J next?"

J wasn't particularly useful to me right now.

At least, not compared to some of the other fighters.

But his network ?

That was a completely different story.

And if I brought J into Heavenly Dragon, I'd eventually have access to people from the Manager Kim side of this universe.

Sophia.

Manager Kim.

And countless other monsters.

Kai: "Yeah... J is definitely worth recruiting."

I pulled out my phone.

There was one other person I needed to deal with first.

Jiho.

I opened my contacts and sent a message to Logan.

Kai: Come meet me in front of the school. Bring Jiho.

A few minutes later, I was standing outside the school with Logan and Jiho.

Kai: "Hey, Jiho. Remember what I told you about joining the gang?"

Jiho looked excited.

Jiho: "Yeah! So what are we doing?"

Kai grinned.

Kai: "After school, we're going somewhere. I'll train you with another guy. You'll see."

Jiho: "Really?"

Kai: "Yeah."

Jiho smiled.

Jiho: "Alright!"

Outside — Later

The three of us walked for quite a while.

Eventually, the city disappeared behind us.

Jiho looked around nervously.

Jiho: "Uh... Kai?"

Kai: "Yeah?"

Jiho: "Where the fuck are we?"

Logan looked around too.

Logan: "Yeah, seriously. What are we doing all the way out here?"

Kai didn't answer.

Instead, we continued walking until we reached the edge of a cliff.

Jiho's expression changed immediately.

Jiho: "What the hell?"

Kai turned toward him.

Kai: "Come on, Jiho."

I looked him up and down.

Kai: "Do you really think you're going to be in a gang with people like us?"

Jiho froze.

Kai: "Look at you."

I stepped closer.

Kai: "Do you honestly think you belong here?"

Jiho: "What...?"

Kai's expression became cold.

Kai: "You're weak."

Jiho stared at me, confused.

Kai: "You're actually a little bitch."

Logan's eyes widened.

Logan: "Kai, what the hell are you doing?"

I ignored him.

Kai: "And honestly?"

I pointed toward the edge of the cliff.

Kai: "I don't need you."

Jiho: "W-Wait, what?"

Kai: "Go die."

Before Jiho could react, I shoved him.

Jiho: "K-KAI!"

His body disappeared over the edge.

Logan immediately rushed forward.

Logan: "WHAT THE FUCK?!"

He looked over the cliff in horror.

Logan: "You just shoved him off!"

Kai remained completely calm.

Logan: "HE COULD HAVE DIED!"

Kai: "Come on, Logan."

I turned around.

Kai: "He won't die."

Logan stared at me like I'd lost my mind.

Logan: "How the hell are you so calm about this?!"

I started walking away.

Kai: "Because I know what I'm doing."

Kai's Inner Thoughts

Of course, Logan didn't understand.

But there was a reason I pushed Jiho.

I'd seen something similar happen in another manhua.

A father pushed his own son off a cliff because he believed that extreme situations would force him to become stronger.

It sounded insane.

But in this world?

Insane things happened every damn day.

Kai: "Jiho needs to become stronger."

I looked back toward the cliff.

Kai: "If I simply protect him from everything, he'll never grow."

I knew what happened to Jiho in the original story.

I knew where his path eventually led.

And I wasn't going to let history repeat itself.

Kai: "Instead of trying to kill Daniel..."

I smiled.

Kai: "He's going to try to fight me." and i'll lead him to exact path that he needs just like back than

That would change everything.

If Jiho became strong enough early enough, maybe his entire story could be rewritten.

Kai: "Just like before."

I started laughing quietly.

Kai: "And next... Johan, the 2 danels and that kid from busan and other people and a lot more there is a lot of things to do ani'll get to it eventually and a lot of things to try ."

Johan had monstrous potential.

If I could bring him into Heavenly Dragon and develop him alongside everyone else, then the gang would become something completely different from anything this world had ever seen.

And it wouldn't stop there.

Busan.

The First Generation.

and The strongest fighters in the entire PTJ Universe.

I'll gather them all.

Kai: "I'll take everyone."

My grin widened.

Kai: "I'll make Heavenly Dragon the strongest gang in this entire world."

I looked toward the sky.

Kai: "AHAHAHA!"
