Arielle's POV.
Rather than confront them instantly, I slowly walked away, my mind already cooking a different plan.
Since Riley was being very protective of Jason, I decide to go back to him when she wasn't there. If I confronted him alone, I was sure he would tell me what I needed.
I returned to my room and went about my day as usual. Through out the day my mind kept going back to Riley and what she could be doing. Was she still with Jason? Had she left him?
And then other thoughts about what I would tell her when she returned also played out. While this took a great deal for me to grow the confidence to pretend like I still didn't know anything, she unfortunately didn't come to the room. Not later in the day, not even at night.
The first thing in my mind was to go out there and look for her but at the last minute, I returned to the bed and took a deep breath. If Riley needed some time off alone, I had to let her have it. If not anything she at least deserved that much…
