Here's the revised version:
Manhattan Presbyterian Medical Center - The Reckoning
The helicopter descended through the pre-dawn darkness toward Manhattan, the city spreading below them in a grid of lights. Towers of glass and steel rose like monuments to human ambition. But Zhou Yuxi's eyes were fixed on a single point, Manhattan Presbyterian Medical Center, its rooftop helipad marked with illuminated landing lights.
"Final approach," she announced, her voice flat and emotionless after the thirteen-hour journey. "Prepare for landing."
The hospital loomed closer, a massive complex of interconnected buildings. The helipad was on the east tower, clearly designed for medical emergency helicopters. At this hour, it should have been empty and Zhou Yuxi didn't care if it was empty or not!
And, Zhou Yuxi wasn't asking for permission either way.
