"good job sweetheart," Jack said as he gently gave Anna's head a pat.
He was sitting at the table with a kid book in hand, and began teaching his girls the ways of school.
(Millicent and Anna being the only ones to like it, but the others didn't have anything else to do).
"Now Millicent, remember reading is good yes, but do not read... Excessively because that will ruin your eyes okay dear," Jack said as he gently punched her cheeks, to which an adorable little pout came to her face.
Jack looked over to Mary who was sat down with roderika and was learning spirit tuning instead. As she actually had a pretty good talent in it.
Jack wasn't much for spirt tuning, as he didn't have the talent. In melee he was on a different level, but try to teach spirit tuning and you lost him.
Jack smiled at the girls before sitting down. With a bit of thinking, Jack sat down and meditated in peace. He felt at peace here... No threats... No murderous pilots after him... Just peace.
He may have lost his best friend in Typhoon in the explosion, but... He now had 5 daughters he wouldn't replace for the world.
Jack looked at the sky and somehow knew that BT would probably give him a thumbs up... Ah the good times.
Jack held his antigrav grenade and began tossing it up and Catching it. It wouldnt explode as this one's safety was on, but it gave him an idea.
"What is your plan," Melina said as she sat in a seat next to Jack.
Jack slowly looked up from his grenade before gazing into Melina's eyes before smiling.
"Gorls, do you want to become princesses?" Jack said but he couldn't hold his amusement at what came next.
"Ooo me me," Anna said as she practically latched onto jacks arm.
*Snort*
Meanwhile in the corner of the room was Gideon snorting some coke...
"Then let's go claim a castle," Jack said as Millicent smiled happily as she followed narrowly behind him.
To his side was Mary who now held a sword (who Hewg had forged for her). And the other two already claiming spots of the castle was theirs.
Meanwhile Melina looked at Jack as if he was crazy. She opened her mouth to speak before Jack cut her off.
"If I'm to be elden Lord anyways, I might as well do as I please now. Besides, I'll have owned the land eventually" Jack shrugged.
"....I cannot refute that," Melina said walking besides Jack, almost pouting like a daughter who's father just said no.
"I call dibs on the falcon," Jack said before chasing his little miscreants.

*Step....step....step**
Her body was both worn and torn. The rot had consumed most of her body when she had bloomed in caelid, and she was moving off fumes and adrenaline at this point.
But for once the rot had proven itself useful. Instead of attacking her as it normally did, it helped her.
The land around her was pure... Unaffected by her disease if it could be called that. As far as she could see there were trees, grass, and even hills in the distance.
Anyone who saw her had ran away at a simple glimpse. Those... Who lacked thought, or were simply stupid met their end swiftly.
Malenia body failed her finally as she was forced to rest, so she sat by her blade, unable to advance further.
But only time will tell when our two will meet.
(Meanwhile)
Jack smiled as he looked up as his girls being girls. Millicent was hanging upside down from the tree, while the other girls were doing their own thing.
the feeling of having liberated the castle was... a fleeting feeling. sure it felt nice, but sometimes things were better left alone.
"sir," a knight knelt behind jack, much to jacks displeasure.
"I've said not to call me that," jack said watching as one of the girls made their way up the tree to where Millicent was.
"but sir, we've seeing signs of unusual movements from some of the factions. the albinaurics in particular. raya Lucaria show no signs of movement, but they haven't left the academy in years. the capital shows no signs either," the knight continued.
"my orders did not change. help the people of limegrave. how are we supposed to have the people respect us, if we don't but in the effort to earn their trust," jack said before reaching out and catching the falling Millicent by the scruff of her shirt, like a kitten.
"be careful okay. don't get hurt," jack said as he set her back on her feet. he gently patted her head and let her run off to climb the tree again.
"...some of the... soldiers of the old era are taking offence to that my king. the loyal soldiers of godrick are trying to refuse your order. what is it that you command me to do?" the knight looked up to jack.
jack sighed. as much as he didn't want to, he was their king now. he had people who relied on him for their protection. it felt weird for someone like him, who only traveled the stars to fight in wars.
"do as you wish. execute or imprison. I'm not picky. just make sure that the knights under my command will follow the orders. save people, not kill," jack said. once he finished talking, the knight stood and then left to do as he was tasked.
"Daddy look," Maureen said as she hung upside down from the tree.
"Good job sweetie," Jack said as he smiled at her.
Mary got bored from playing on the tree, as she got down from it. She went to the library and picked up a book and sat next to Jack.
Jack sighed and leaned back in his chair as he watched over his children. It felt nice having nothing else to do. No fighting, no stress, just raising his daughters and making stormveil livable for civilians.
Little did the lands between know, another power was growing. Stormveil castle that was once looked down upon will soon grow in power.
and it was all thanks to a single "tarnished"

No Marika in this fic 🙃 nor is there anything else. I thought about malenia being female lead, but decided to hold off on that for now. And focus more on the actions of jack.
