"I won't lose! I still have Doomsday—he will kill every last one of you!"

Lex Luthor made no attempt to flee, knowing full well that he could never outrun the pursuit of a Super Cat. However, he was far from total despair. The button he had pressed moments ago didn't just activate the Kryptonite weaponry within the room; it had also remotely triggered the Kryptonian cyborg hidden beneath LexCorp.

He had christened this monstrosity "Doomsday."

"What 'Doomsday'?" Lois asked, a sinking feeling settling in her gut. She helped Martha Kent down from her chair before turning to confront Luthor with an urgent glare.

Aiming to stall for time, Luthor made no effort to hide his plan. He explained with a smug, triumphant grin: "It's a creature I forged using Kryptonian technology, the corpses of the fallen Kryptonian soldiers, and my own blood. It is capable of—"

BOOM!

A thunderous explosion rocked the sky above before Luthor could even finish his sentence. The smile on his face widened significantly. Doomsday possessed the unique ability to drastically increase its power by absorbing the energy of nuclear blasts.

Undoubtedly, the foolish military brass had discovered the battle between Superman and Doomsday and launched a nuclear missile, hoping to incinerate them both. In reality, their interference would only serve to make Doomsday infinitely more formidable.

"Then let's go outside and see just how 'powerful' your Doomsday really is," George remarked.

Hearing the blast outside, George remained entirely unfazed. With a casual flick of his paw, he vanished from the room, taking Lois, Martha, and Luthor along with him via teleportation. He was well aware that Doomsday could absorb nuclear energy to grow stronger, but what of it? Even if Doomsday swallowed the energy of a hundred million nuclear warheads, George could still erase him with a mere flick of a finger.

This was a fundamental disparity in power—they simply weren't in the same dimension of strength.

A Clash of Titans

"Wonder Woman has arrived as well."

Hovering in the air above LexCorp, George looked down. Below, he saw Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman working in tandem to hold the line against Doomsday.

Batman was a pure human, and in George's eyes, held little value for his specific research. Wonder Woman, however, was a different story. In this world, she was the daughter of Zeus, King of the Olympian Gods, and Hippolyta, Queen of the Amazons. She possessed the dual heritage of both divinity and the Amazons.

Divine power belonged to the "God Sphere," one of the seven fundamental energies of the universe. In this realm, the power of all gods, demons, and angels originated from the God Sphere. By making contact with Wonder Woman, George would be able to study that specific energy.

This was precisely why he had indulged Luthor's stalling tactics and allowed Doomsday to absorb the nuke. He needed the situation to escalate enough to draw out Wonder Woman, allowing him to approach her in the most natural way possible.

"Heroes always arrive at the final moment. It's time for my entrance."

George placed Lois and the other two safely on the roof of a nearby skyscraper, used his will to pin Luthor in place, and then glided toward the battlefield.

The Brink of Defeat

"Everyone, hold on! Once George gets here, the four of us can take him down together!"

On the battlefield, Superman had been sent flying once again by Doomsday. He shouted words of encouragement to his allies, Batman and Wonder Woman, as he struggled to stabilize himself.

Having absorbed the nuclear blast, Doomsday's speed and strength had already surpassed his own. Even with Batman's Kryptonite weaponry and Wonder Woman's tactical support, they were still being overpowered. They had managed to sever Doomsday's limbs a few times, but the creature's regenerative factor was so extreme that it healed in less than a few seconds.

They eventually surmised that the only way to truly kill Doomsday was to pierce its heart with the Kryptonite spear Batman had forged. The Kryptonite would weaken Doomsday's physiology and suppress its healing factor, preventing recovery.

However, executing that plan was proving nearly impossible. With Batman's human physical limits, he couldn't even get close enough to Doomsday to deliver a killing blow, let alone pierce its chest. While Superman had the physical capability to reach the monster, he was also vulnerable to the spear. Holding the Kryptonite would leave him so weakened that even if he managed to pierce Doomsday's heart, he would likely be killed by the monster in his weakened, human-like state.

If there truly were no other way, Clark was prepared to sacrifice his life to take Doomsday down with him for the sake of the Earth. But that wasn't the case yet. George—who was far more powerful and had effortlessly handled General Zod—hadn't arrived yet. Clark believed that once George finished rescuing his mother and girlfriend and joined the fray, the four of them would surely prevail.

For now, the priority was to endure.

They had briefly attempted to let Wonder Woman use the spear, as she wasn't weakened by Kryptonite. That, too, had failed. Although she possessed the power of a demigod, she was still outclassed by the raw physical output of Superman and Doomsday. The moment she took hold of the spear, Doomsday focused all its aggression on her, refusing to give her an opening to strike a vital point.

Because of this, the trio had reverted to their current formation: Superman as the primary tank, Wonder Woman providing suppressive support, and Batman using Kryptonite gas and gadgets to distract the beast. Doomsday didn't view Batman as a primary threat, allowing the Dark Knight to chip away at its focus.

"Hah!"

Seeing Superman get knocked back, Wonder Woman let out a fierce battle cry. She leaped onto Doomsday's neck, intending to decapitate the beast with her divine sword. However, Doomsday caught her mid-air, slammed her violently into the ground, and raised a massive foot to crush her into a pulp.

Just in time, Batman fired two Kryptonite smoke grenades directly into Doomsday's eyes, causing the monster to falter for two crucial seconds. Wonder Woman used that window to recover and roll away, narrowly avoiding the stomp.

They were banking on the same hope Superman was: if they could just keep the fight contained and prevent Doomsday from leveling Metropolis, they would have a chance once the "Super Cat" arrived. They had all seen the footage of George utterly dominating General Zod.

"ROAR!!!"

The inability to kill the three pests was driving Doomsday into a state of primal rage. Terrifying arcs of electricity crackled around its body. It clasped its massive hands together, preparing to slam them into the earth with everything it had.

"Oh no!"

The faces of Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman paled simultaneously. This vent of rage wouldn't kill them, but the resulting shockwave would shatter the foundations of the surrounding area. Countless buildings—many of which still housed civilians who hadn't evacuated—would collapse.

CRASH!

A massive sound echoed, but the trio's expressions immediately relaxed. The catastrophic destruction they feared didn't happen. Instead, the tide of the battle had finally turned.

"He's finally here!"

George had appeared directly in front of Doomsday. With the casual grace of a house cat, he raised a single paw and blocked Doomsday's full-power strike.

Seeing its attack stopped so effortlessly, Doomsday let out another furious roar. It unleashed a relentless barrage of blows upon George, a blur of monstrous fists. Yet, every single strike was caught or deflected by a soft paw. George didn't even shift his footing—he remained perfectly unmoved, like an unbreakable wall.
