Chapter 10 - Chapter 10 Clash with the Hyuga

(T/n: I changed the names of side characters )

Hyuga Hayato was caught in his trap, feeling like he was burning in his own fire. After hearing Uchiha Hui's cold words, he couldn't hold back anymore. He stood up abruptly and shouted at Uchiha Hui, "What did you just say, you Uchiha bastard?!"

A sweet-looking schoolgirl pulled down her eyelids with her fingers, making a face at Hinata Hayato. "Did Hui-kun say anything wrong? People who try to mess with others and end up getting burned themselves… aren't they just stupid?"

After saying that, the girl placed her hand on her face and gazed at Uchiha Hui with sparkling eyes. "Hui-kun, don't you think I'm right?"

Uchiha Hui couldn't be bothered to deal with an idiot like this. He was planning to apply for a direct promotion to the graduating class in another month anyway. His physique had improved, and his ninja tool throwing skills were more refined. The students in his class no longer had anything to do with him.

"Uchiha Hui!" Hyuga Hayato jumped up in anger, his white eyes almost bulging out of their sockets. It was frustrating enough to be humiliated by an Uchiha, but to be ridiculed by an ordinary civilian? That was unacceptable.

Gritting his teeth, he roared, "Do you dare to duel with me?!"

Uchiha Hui didn't even bother replying. He simply walked out of the classroom. He was looking for a quiet corner to practice hand seals or refine his chakra. Without looking back, he left a single word behind: "Boring."

The girls in the class immediately started whispering.

"Hui-kun is so cool!"

"Look at Hayato, acting like a clown."

"Yeah, yeah! Hui-kun didn't even acknowledge him and just walked away. How humiliating!"

Hearing the discussion, Hinata Hayato's rage boiled over. He didn't even think—he just charged at Uchiha Hui's back, raising his fist for a punch. Even though he hadn't learned the Gentle Fist yet, basic taijutsu was still a strength of the Hyuga Clan.

The moment he heard footsteps rushing toward him and felt the wind shift behind him, Uchiha Hui's eyes flashed coldly. Without hesitation, he tilted his body to the side, pivoting on his left heel.

Hyuga Hayato's fist barely missed Uchiha Hui's neck. But Hui didn't just dodge—using the momentum, he suddenly swung his right leg up in a powerful roundhouse kick, like a whirlwind cutting through the air.

Hinata Hayato, being a Hyuga, had good reflexes and instinctively tried to block. But Uchiha Hui's kick was infused with chakra, using the upper kick of Konoha's Whirlwind technique.

Boom!

With a dull impact, Hyuga Hayato was sent flying like a ragdoll. His eyes widened in disbelief as he crashed hard against the classroom wall.

Uchiha Hui casually walked over, propping one hand against the wall as he looked down at the fallen Hyuga. His expression was impatient, his voice indifferent.

"Don't bother me again."

Hyuga Hayato felt an oppressive aura surrounding Uchiha Hui. It sent a shiver down his spine, making him tremble uncontrollably. His instincts screamed at him that this boy was dangerous. He gulped and nodded in a panic.

With that little trouble out of the way, Uchiha Hui hurried off to train. He was relieved that he could deal with it so quickly—he had expected Hinata Hayato to be more stubborn. But if it was this easy, all the better.

Right now, practicing hand seals required a lot of concentration for him. He hoped to reach a point where he could refine chakra while forming seals simultaneously, effectively doubling his training time.

Recess was short. Factoring in the time it took to find a hidden spot and return, he only had about five minutes to practice. Thankfully, he could also refine chakra during class. Even if he didn't pay attention to the lectures, he could always borrow the notes of a diligent female student who wrote down every single word the teacher said.

When Hyuga Hayato returned to the classroom, he barely glanced at Uchiha Hui before sitting quietly in his seat, uncharacteristically obedient.

This made Uchiha Hui raise an eyebrow. He had only told Hayato not to pick fights with him, and he hadn't even issued a proper threat. Why was he acting so… docile?

Well, whatever. If Hayato wasn't causing trouble, there was no need to overthink it.

Since he had the Sharingan, Uchiha Hui made it a habit to watch out for people practicing ninjutsu. Every day after school, while exercising and running, he kept an eye out for anyone using jutsu, hoping to copy them. He even carried a pair of sunglasses to hide his eyes, just in case an opportunity arose.

But so far, no luck. Nobody used ninjutsu in the village streets. It seemed like he'd have to wait until he saw a real battlefield before he could start copying techniques.

While thinking about his future growth, Hui continued practicing hand seals while running forward, paying no attention to his surroundings. Normally, passersby would just step aside.

Boom!

A sudden impact sent a force crashing into him. He took a few steps back to stabilize himself, his expression instantly turning cold as he looked at the figure blocking his path.

His pupils shrank slightly.

White eyes.

A nose held high in arrogance.

A member of the Hyuga Clan.
