June 11, 2008 - Serena Pov.
I was beyond stiff. At this point, I was used to it; the three bodies on top of me made my mobility almost impossible, so I stayed completely still while my mind finally caught up and I fully woke up.
Despite being trapped beneath the warm bodies on top of me, I woke up completely rested, as if I'd had the best night of my life. Thinking back to the night before, I could feel my cheeks warming slightly. I didn't even know I was capable of losing my mind like that.
Yes, I had let the lust of both Baiser and my Succubus side take the reins, so to speak, and I had even unconsciously fed off of them, which left them deeply unconscious in the end.
With a slight push, I created a portal beneath me, letting it slowly absorb me to avoid waking the three girls clinging to me. With some difficulty and magic to free myself from their strong grip, I finally passed through the portal and landed silently next to my bed.
I looked at the girls, who moaned in protest at the lack of warmth before finding each other and hugging themselves. I sighed in relief as I stretched lazily. I stopped stiffly when I felt something ooze from my crotch and slowly run down my thigh.
I looked down, and my whole body flushed before I cast a charm to remove all traces. Apparently, while drunk with lust, I was barely able to clean away everything on the surface, not what was inside me.
I didn't want to think about how it was much less than it should have been, and that my body had absorbed most of it. I simply cleaned myself thoroughly once more and opened a portal to the kitchen.
I looked at the time on a nearby clock. It was later than I thought. It certainly wasn't noon yet, but it wasn't early morning anymore. Still, breakfast would do just as well. I took a step forward when the kitchen door opened.
I saw Lucius lazily, wearing only light, baggy trousers with a wrinkled shirt half-open; he was completely disheveled, his gaze stopped on me, and he gave me the flattest look possible.
"Clothes, dear," Lucius said without giving me a second glance. I could feel my cheeks flush. I opened a small portal to my room and reached inside, grabbing Aria and forcing her to transform into clothes. A simple shirt big enough to hide all my modesty and reaching halfway down my thighs, and a pair of black panties.
I would almost feel annoyed if Lucius hadn't reacted or given me a second glance, but first of all, yuck, just thinking about it made me shudder with disgust. Secondly, Lucius was like... well, I won't say brother, he loved Narcissa like a sister, but he wasn't blind to her, he could notice her figure and appreciate her beauty. Still, Lucius, as much as I loved him back, no, definitely not, it was a big no, just like any man.
And Lucius seemed to think the same. Or, well, she was half sure that Narcissa would kill him if he did something like that.
"Partially? Proof fully." Lucius interrupted my thoughts as he walked over to the coffee pot and turned it on. I snorted and rolled my eyes in amusement. I walked over to him at the side of the stove.
"Is Cissy still sleeping? I was about to make breakfast for us. Should I make you some? " I asked as I started preparing the ingredients.
"Please," Lucius said, nodding. "I was going to ask Dobby, but you're a better choice," Lucius said, humming. I nodded slightly. "But first, I hope you've washed your hands. I really don't want to know where they've been, despite how much my power is screaming at me," Lucius said tersely.
Once I could feel my cheeks heating up, I glared at him. Still, I walked over to the faucet and placed my hands under the water without taking my eyes off Lucius. He just smirked at me; I rolled my eyes. I cleaned my hands properly and got to work cooking.
As my hands moved through the ingredients and cooking utensils, I could see Lucius put on his glasses and take out a tablet before quickly beginning to read. I blinked slightly when I felt my Reality Marble scan the glasses and store the plans inside. I promptly ignored it; it was too early to start getting distracted.
"Anything interesting?" I asked distractedly. Lucius hummed slightly.
"We're trending on the devilnet." Lucius said. I simply snorted slightly.
"The videos Riser showed us?" I asked, knowing the answer. Lucius's confirming hum said it all.
"That and more. Every forum and social media site is practically on fire. The video seemed too biased, plus I couldn't hear the whole exchange; it seemed like Bella and Ravel were the ones who attacked in the first place."
"That ended when the Phenex took control of the narrative and started posting that Narcissa was kidnapped from Pentagram City, and it was a rescue mission. So people started to side with us. Or, well, most of them. There are a lot of people who are genuinely disgusted or scared of Bellatrix's brutality." Lucius mocked as he began to type rapidly.
"Let them talk, I don't care," I said distractedly, and it was true.
"That's not all, they were criticizing you for not being present to fight for your servants, that was until the succubi entered the conversation and practically thousands of them began to tell everything that happened in the human world."
"The two succubi you released were the main instigators; they talked about everything without any shame, from their kidnapping in Wallachia, their torture at Sellzen's hands, and their imprisonment with Kokabiel."
"Well, it seems that at that point, everything finally exploded. Since that confrontation involved the fallen angels and the church, it seems they also started to join in, and it became a mess."
"It was so much that the Satans had to make an official announcement explaining exactly what was going on," Lucius said amusedly as he continued reading everything. I raised my eyebrows.
"Really? That much? Although I do appreciate the Phenex and the succubi defending us." I said with a shrug. Lucius hummed lightly.
"Interesting, there were several high-priority messages from our Lucifer, the city manager. Apparently, we've started getting a lot of moving requests." Lucius said, and I groaned loudly.
"How many? Do I have to expand the city more? " I asked pitifully.
"Perhaps it's for the best," Lucius said simply. "Apparently, there were a lot of people who weren't entirely confident in your ability to defend the city and them, and all that, but… with a video showing Bella and Ravel single-handedly obliterating hundreds of devils, you're showing power on par with High-Class Devils."
"And then the Satans' announcement about the defeat of Kokabiel and the white dragon, they no longer had any doubt about your capabilities, so those who were waiting, made the decision to come immediately."
"Great." I sighed tiredly. That was for later. I could see Lucius typing quickly on his tablet.
"I'm writing an official announcement. There were several changes the Satans made to their statement. I'm backing up their version. Nothing major, certainly, but it's better that way. Also, the sooner I make the announcement, the better. I'll also add that you've been indisposed up until now. I'll leave it somewhat vague about being a succubus."
"Most will understand, if not they'll have to look it up somewhere or ignore it, it doesn't matter that much...and...that's it." Lucius said as he pressed to publish the official message. I didn't even glance at what he had posted, trusting him to handle things like that. If he needed to know something, he would let me know. For now, I focused on preparing breakfast; the rest of the world could wait.
"So, what's the plan?" Lucius asked, pouring himself a cup of coffee. I glanced at him.
"Make breakfast? Eat with our partners in bed? " I said distractedly, Lucius snorted.
"Although it's a perfect plan, I meant the long term," Lucius said, amusedly. I shrugged.
"Not much? I'll keep expanding the city. I need exact numbers to prepare the houses, or I'll just leave them to the city builders. The city practically manages itself, though, so they can prepare them themselves. It's not like the moves are urgent." I said distractedly.
I thought about the city, and it practically required little to no effort to keep it in order. In fact, even Lucius and Ravel's workload had also decreased significantly; there was very little urgent and necessary paperwork for the three of us to handle.
The same city was taking on different forms than I had initially designed, certainly for the better. They had even built and altered one or two of the sections into a new section themselves, which I hadn't considered in the original design.
One of them was what looked like a sprawling central business district, and the other was basically turned into a teleportation and storage center, which, in hindsight, was something I had to take into account, considering the main way to move large amounts of items like large containers or crates between cities was to have designated teleportation locations.
With something so big and heavy, and possibly fragile, it helped to know where it needed to go, along with a schedule to follow, so I helped with the initial remodeling when the proposal for construction came in.
Even the red light district was expanding. The three main brothels remained the main attraction, but as the succubi began to realize they had more freedom beyond prostitution, they started creating their own shops.
Nothing really over-the-top or revolutionary, and they certainly weren't trying to overshadow the brothels; they were just diversifying. It was still about sex, obviously, but they were expanding. They opened bars and nightclubs with strip clubs, discos, erotic massage parlors, and even restaurants and cafes.
And they certainly had their sexual side of the latter too, one of the sex restaurants that were becoming more and more famous was a restaurant called ' Pooters ' and their 'Sex Time', and yes, I didn't miss the stupid coincidence with the name, even the uniform was white and orange, I just decided to ignore it.
Succubi were increasingly in numbers, and the red-light district was an awe-inspiring tourist resort at this point.
And it's not like they were getting out of control; Fengxian, Marion, and Sheila were still monitoring everything closely. Yes, they were starting to get more and more work, but it was clear that they were more than pleased to see the succubi flourish with their newfound freedom.
Some of them didn't even work there, well, they still needed their share to stay fed and healthy. Still, some of them had regular, boring jobs in the other districts, or vice versa, the other devils, who didn't mind working with the succubi and all the sexual charge that came with them, started working in the red light district.
That, plus the business they were conducting in Wallachia, as a point of attention for the rest of the supernatural world, the succubi were making themselves quite noticeable, in a positive way, certainly.
There were very few, if any, incidents of succubi absorbing more life energy than allowed, so there haven't been any problems so far. All the succubi seemed fully aware that there were limits they couldn't cross, and if they wanted to maintain their newfound freedoms, they would have to adhere to those limits.
That was good. I was actually surprised to notice the succubi were quite responsible in that area. Perhaps I should start distributing the elixir of life, crafted from philosopher's stones, to replenish that vital energy. Hmm, maybe an announcement in front of them all would be best.
I made a mental note to inform the succubus leaders to gather all the succubi.
"If you're done thinking about it, that's still not what I meant," Lucius mocked, jolting me awake from my reverie and my plans. I looked at the kitchen and saw all the ingredients were already prepared.
"So?" I asked simply, not understanding where he was going. "I had some things I wanted to train and research in my lab, but I guess that's not the case either?" I asked simply. Lucius snorted.
"You always have something to do in your lab," Lucius mocked, amusedly. "I meant about the other thing. You defeated Kokabiel. You said you wanted to send Bella to another world, or go to another world yourself after that," Lucius said finally. My eyes widened slightly.
" Right! That's it! " I said excitedly before smiling slightly. "Yeah, I had some plans for that! I just need to talk to Bella about her destination. On the other hand, I saw the credits we got, and we have enough to do some shopping! I even got a ticket to buy a T6 companion, which I was really looking forward to! " I said excitedly.
"Oh? Are you planning on adding someone to the family? " Lucius asked, interested. I nodded quickly before looking at him shyly.
"Yeah, I mean, I've been thinking about it for a while. I have a lot of fun talking to Ajuka about my experiments, some research, and developing magic. I... I want someone like that?" I said shyly. Lucius laughed lightly.
"I see. Yes, it would be a good idea to get you a partner for your lab. As much as we listen to your ramblings about magic or potions, none of us can really keep up with you," Lucius said with an apologetic smile. I shook my head.
"Don't apologize, it's not necessary. I'm glad you can just listen to me ramble when I know you're not really interested in the differences between two potion ingredients," I said with a small smile.
And yes, most of them put up with my babbling whenever I started talking about it without realizing it. And as much as they said it was fine, I really knew how boring I could be when I talked about magical calculations for 20 minutes.
That's why I loved talking to Ajuka. He was able to pay attention, not only listen, but ask questions, offer ideas, and even start rambling on about his own things. Just thinking about the idea of having someone like that sounded incredible.
"Do you have any idea who you want?" Lucius asked.
"I have some ideas, yes, at first I was thinking of someone like one of the Genius Society, especially Herta, Ruan Mei, or Screwllum, but I quickly discarded them." I said with a sigh. I could see Lucius using the tablet to search for information on them.
"Hmm? Why the discard? They certainly seem to have what you're looking for," Lucius said as he continued reading. I snorted.
"As tempting as they really are, the three of them far outnumber me. For starters, they're ridiculously strong, like, each of them can casually create or destroy planets. On top of that, I'm not ashamed to admit that they're literally super geniuses, way smarter than me in every single area."
"So, as much as I'm interested in them, it simply wouldn't serve the purpose of having someone at my level to research and work with," I said honestly.
Genius Society from Honkai Star Rail, they were way outclassing me.
In time, I'll reach that level. After all, I was practically immortal, or I can always fast-forward and use templates to get to that level, but right now? Yeah, I definitely couldn't hold a candle to any of the geniuses.
"I see." Lucius said simply, humming. "Besides getting someone who can keep up with you in the lab, are you going to take on any off-world missions?" he asked next.
"I haven't thought about it yet. I have a lot to catch up on with my powers and some research to do, so adding another magical system to study isn't essential, as much as I'd like to. We don't need credits, or Bella will get enough with her mission, so there's no short-term concern about taking a mission for credits." I said with a shrug. "And you?"
"Me? To another world? If Cissy wants, maybe, but I really don't care. I'll accompany you wherever you go and clean up your political messes. You really need me that much." Lucius said, mockingly.
"Hey!" I complained in his direction while pouting, though I could feel a warmth settle in my chest at Lucius's words. I smiled slightly. "Breakfast is ready," I said as I placed a tray with breakfast for two in front of Lucius.
"Thank you, dear," Lucius said as he stood up and levitated the tray before turning and starting to leave the kitchen. "Go with your fiancées, then we'll finish discussing future plans. We have time," Lucius greeted as he left.
I snorted playfully as I began plating breakfast for four. A new world, huh? It had only been half a year in this world, and it had undoubtedly been an incredibly long six months. Seeing a new world could be a good thing. I had a few I wanted to visit.
I would have to talk it over with the others.
Smiling slightly, with several trays behind me, I walked through the doorway to my room, where I saw my three partners still sleeping peacefully. I smiled slightly, but as Lucius said, plans for the future could wait.
