CHAPTER 8
After using his tricks to make momo disappear Hiro and yuki confronted the Jester,in order to save momo yuki called her sisters and then the fight began,nikko was first to attack but ended up failing, lily was second so she cast a lightning blast but the Jesters magic was to powerful so he redirected her attack and aimed it at kana, asuka,akari and Kaori decided to go full front and began to attack him directly but he was to fast, getting exhausted asuka realized that all of them needed a plan in order to save momo before its to late....
The streets are cracked from the intense battle, the sounds of punches clashing, asuka and the jester run side by side with increbible speed, eyes locked on each other, asuka's expresion dosen't change but the jester's smile goes wider with every blow. They stop in midway heavy breathing.
"Impresive asuka...i've never would have thought that you were this strong and fast" he said chuckling.
Asuka grip her fist and replied,"i don't know your plans with momo but if you think that we are going to let you get away with it then you're wrong".
He laugh at her" my plans?...noooo...i'm just a delivery boy...
Asuka's eyes glowed dark yellow as her anger grew,"you are going to regret the day you mess with us". Grasping her fist she rush to fight the jester.
Kyle and casey were hiding behind the bench watching the fight, kile was a little confused and said,"i don't understand, the girls are suppost to have the uper hand and this guy is just playing with them?".
"I was thinking the same thing as you, the girls are more powerful than he is but their's one problem....they are not fighting as a team". Cassie replied to kile.
"Huh!?...what are you talking about sis".
"Just look around kyle...niko got annoyed by him and attacked first and now she's all tangledupand now yui is trying to help her out,kana is unconciousbecause of lily's attackand asuka is fighting alone, kaori and akari are exhaustedand yuki is protectingkazumi in case he tries to attack her".
"I see you're point". Said kyle.
Cassie look back at the fight trying to figure something out, "if they don't get their heads together they wont be able to win or save momo, there must be something we could do to help."
"Like what cassie...it's not like we have powers or something".
Cassie's eyes light up as she had an idea,"but the jester dosen't know it,...i got it!!! Stay here i'll be right back".
Cassie slowly walks to kazumi.
Kazumi look surprised and whispered to Cassie, "what are you doimg here it's to dangerous!".
"Yeah i know but i got and idea and i need your help".
"Ok i'm listening" kazumi replied to her.
"Ok the first thing is, make jason belive he has powers like you guys".
Kazumi raised an eyebrow and ask cassie,"that's dangerous...and why him?".
"I know, i know but it will be only for a few minutes...i just need to buy us some time, i might have a way to defeat this guy but i need to distract the jester".
"Ok casey i'll help".
Cassie then walk to Jason who was hiding behind a bench, she tap his shoulders and Jason jumped.
"Holy crap casey you scared me to death". Said jason
"What!? You scared!? I mean ive never seen you scared in my life jason...i always thought of you as the strongest of our group".
"Do you really think so casey?".
"Say jason...what if i told you that i you can fight along side of the girls?".
Jason look at her and said, "what, really!?".
"Yeah i know how much youwant to be part of it andnow you can do it...and i know that asuka will be very impressed by it". Said cassie with a teasing tone.
"I'll do it...." jason replied feeling confidens.
Both of them walk to kazumi.
"Ok kazumi i brougth the distract- i mean jason".
Kazumi looked at jason who was egar to join in and said,"i still think this is a bad idea".
"It's ok i know what i'm doing".
Kazumi sigh,"fine...here goes nothing...really", her fingers sparkle as she cast a spell making jason glow.
Jason looked at his own body as saw how a red surge of energy coverd him."i can feel it, i can feel the power growing inside me", he said striking a super hero pose.
"I feel sorry for him". Kazumi said scratching her head.
"Ok jason, there's the jester he's super dangerous so you have to be careful ,all you need to do is walk to him and…jason? Where did you..?".
Jason walk to the Jesters while Cassie tried to explain her plan.
"I haven't explained the plan you idiot come back here", shouted casey.
"Um cassie, you did tell him that his powers are not real right?". Kazumi ask raising one eyebrow.
Cassie shake her head.
"Oh my", kazumi said while covering her mouth.
Asuka kept fighting the jester, blades clashing sending sparks as they get closer,seeing an opportunity he created multiple copy's of himself. Asuka back away looking for the real one but he was moving side to side trying to confuse her, asuka took a leap and with incredibke speed she took down one by one until 3 of them were left, the 3 copies pointed there hands at her and began to charge a dark energy ball, one by one they fire at her but asuka didnt move insted she use her katana and light it up making the katana burn, as the dark energy blast were getting closer she stud her ground and stike them one by one making explotions that destroyed half of the plaza, asuka knelt down as she was tired, the jester was floating in mid air with a smirk on his face.
"Well, well, well getting tired already…I thought you were more of a challenge but here you are kneeling down hehehe, i must say i like this new look on you….maybe you should stay like that more".
Asuka just glared at him grasping her sword, at that moment Jason walk pass them and stud in the middle, asuka Kaori and Akari where a little confused about what was he doing there. The jester landed a few feet away arms crossed holding a maniacal smile.
"And what do we have here, a new challenger i see?".
Showing no sign of fear only determination jason replied,"it's funny how a villain like you dosen't know who i am?".
Jester landed a few feet from him and replied to jason,"well to be honest this world is completely new for me …but by all means do tell…I'm all ears".
"Well if i must reveal my identity to you i'm more than happy to tell ...i mean its not like you're gonna live to tell the rest of your comrades."
Seen that the jester took the bait cassie told yuki to called her sister as she told her that she had a plan to defeat the jester once and for all, she nodded and use her energy to call them all, kana finally woke up and ran with lily, niko was dizzy after getting smacked by yui but both of them managed to walk to cassie, asuka and the rest backed from the fight and got to where cassie and the rest of them were. They got a little confused as all of them saw what jason was doing.
The Jester crossed his arms and began to chuckle maniacally,"well boy i must say you caught my attention heheheyou sound sooooo serious and mysterious ...you are ether very brave or very stupid to stand in front of me like that".
Jason got more serious and said, "indeed i am....I'm unrivaled in this place, all of those who apposedme end upkneeling before me and you are not the exception….jester".
"What is that idiot think he's doing?". Lily ask while raising one eyebrow.
"And why is he talking like that?". Kana also ask confused.
"And where does that ominous music coming from?". Niko ask scratching her head.
Cassie walk to them and said,"oh that, well i just tricked jason into thinking that he's got super powers like all of you in order to distract the jester while we all come up with a plan to defeat him once and for all".
All of them blinked twice at the same time.
"What…it was the only think i could think off and besides it's working".
"That is so devious ....why didn't i think of that ". Niko said.
The jester's heart was pumping with adrenaline,"well boyyou got me all excited now...but before we begin our epic battle I must know you're name, so tell me who i am going to destroy with my hands now".
Jason close his eyes and with a grin on his face he replied to the jester, "i've been called many names...heavy striker, dark swordsman, but the mane given to me by the gods themselves is...THE DEMON KILLER". There was a moment of silence in between them,only the gust of wind could be heard as niko shouted from the background,"THAT IS THE STUPIDEST NAME I'VE EVER HEARD IN MY LIFE!"
Hiro smacked his forehead with this palm embarrast and said,"did he just used his gamer tag name?".
"Well Demon killer now that i know your name, why don't you show me what you really got". The jester said while getting into a fighting stance.
"With pleasure", he also got into a fighting stance while a red energy coverd his body.
Jason kept distracting the jester while Cassie explained her plan.
"Have you all noticed that the jester never strikes first?.
"Oh, don't tell me you think he's being polite…". Said niko in a sarcastic tone.
"No listen, the jester it's not stupid, he knows that he can't take all of you at the same time that's why he uses your anger and frustration against you, listen every time you face him he tries to manipulate you, making you strike first with out a plan, that makes it easy for him because he can read you're every single move….".
"So what's the plan". Ask kana grasping her katana.
"If we want to win we need to play the same game he's playing…here's what will do".
After they were done talking to Cassie all of them walk to where Jason and the Jester we're.
"Thanks for covering us jason….will take it from here". Said asuka with burning eyes.
"Is everyone ready!!!". Shouted casey as they got into a fighting stance…."GO!!!".
All of them began to move in incredible speed side to side making it impossible for the jester to keep up…"if you think that this silly little game you're playing will work against me well think again!!" He fired multiple shadow balls towards them but missies every shot.
"Whats the matter jester…can't keep up" said lily dashing through the air.
"Well what did you expect from a lousy clown sis". Said niko smirking while moving around.
The jester started to lose his patience."be quiet little brat you still don't know who you're dealing with!!", he fire more shadow balls but they all missed.
Akari was on standing on a pole and said with a taunting tone," i knew the moment i saw you you were bad but i didn't knew you were this bad hahahaha…come on show me what you got i promise not to move".
The frustration on his eyes could be seen as he pointed his hands towards her firing a energy blast, the blast head towards her but as soon as it got to her the blast went trough her. "What the!?….and after image but where did dhe…!?", he ask with an anger on his face.
"NOW!!!" Shouted cassie from a far.
Niko burst through the ground upwards swinging her mallet towards the jester's jaw,"it's to fast i cant dodge it!". The jester said in his mind. The mallet swung on his face sending his flying to the air, kana and akari both launched at him with a fury of attacks from their katanas at the same time cutting him from every angle, yuki and kaori both send punches at the same time on his chest making the jester cough blood. Asuka appeared in front of him and spin kick him on his face with full force sending him back to the ground, the force of the kick was so strong that when the jester landed it made a huge crater. All of them landed near him having there eyes lock on him, the jester managed to get up but he was all beaten up.
"This…..this is impossible you can't beat me i am the jester my powers go far beyond yours".
Asuka walk in front of him and spoke to him,"it's over jester you've lost, you're in no condition to fight now admit defeat and give us back our sister or I'll finish this myself".
"NEVER!!", with one last strength he jump to the air holding his two hands forward charging a big shadow ball aiming at them,"I won't admit defeat, I won't lose to you and i will kill you where you stand!!!!!", asuka look upwards still holding her ground,"this will be my final attack and your last time in this esrth so say goodbye HAHAHAHA!!"
Lily used her speed and jumped from the ground and dash in front of the jester face to face, "what the!?….how dare you get in front of me like that!!!" The jester said furious at her. Lily smirked as she cast a spell that blinded the jester,"arghh!!! What did you do to me I can't see!!!
"Hiro now, do it!!" ,Yuki shouted.
Kana gave Hiro a boost as he jumped towards the jester getting behind him, the sword appeared on his had as he slashed his back, the jester scream in pain as he fall to the ground once more. "You….you're just a human….you can't defeat me", Hiro walk close to him pointing the sword on his face.
"I already told you jester ….the show is over now gave us back momo and i was was you i think before you act, because your next move…. Can be your last..", Asuka talk as all of the girls eyes were glowing dangerously.
He stumbled back looking at the girls eyes feeling like a prey cornered by hungry wolves ready to attack,niko noticed the fear on his eyes and started to growl as her fangs showed trying to intimidate him. The jester had no other choice but to admit defeat."ok , ok I surrender please have mercy i'll bring her back just let me live". Lifting his hand he cast a spell and out if the shadows momo came out of it unconscious. When they saw her, the girls immediately rush to her, asuka knelt down and told yui to wake her up, yui closed her eyes and use her magic to brake any seal that might cause her to be unconscious, momo slowly open her eyes and with a blurry look she manige to see that her sister and Hiro were there,"hey…its the show over ?" Momo ask not knowing what happened while she was away, the feeling of relief could be seen on there faces knowing that momo was ok.
"Ok now that we got momo back why don't we finish what we started and…" the jesters had left right after they all went to help momo."WHY THAT SON OF A….!!!"
"Niko that's enough,we got momo back let's just go…kazumi can you take us home?." Asuka ask.
"Sure". Responded kazumi while opening a portal that took everyone back to the garden.
At the abandoned cathedral the Jester was laying on the ground outside next to the graves bleeding.
"This….this isn't over yet…..i will have my revenge". Said the jester bleeding out.
Out of nowhere cecilia landed infront of him eyes glowing red and a grin on her face, she knelt down and said to him,"well, well look what the cat dragged in…so tell me did you have fun or is this another excuse to make yourself useless like always, the funny thing is that they didn't even had to try, all they did was play your stupid game and they beat you up…and in the end you became there little toy… a cat playing with there mouse…"
"H…how do you know all of those stuff tell me?". A sign of fear and confusion could be seen on his face as cecilia got up and continued talking.
"I was there the whole time, watching how they cornered you like a pathetic clown you are". Cecilia replied with a menacing tone.
"Then why didn't you help me!!"
"Well that's easy my dear jester", she pointed her hand at him charging a crimson fire ball,"i don't like it when me or my brother are threaten like you did to us, i don't like it when everyone thinks we are weak and most importantly…i don't like you…."
"NO WAIT!!!."
Cecilia thrusted her hand forward sending a massive fire blast to where the jester was and eradicated him leaving nothing but ashes where he was, cecilia lowered her hand and walk back inside the cathedral.
Back at the house the girls decided to rest there heads on the living room while asuka told iris what happened.
With a grateful face iris talk to hiro and said,"once again i thank all of you for protecting my sisters, you showed me that there's more potential in you that what i would imagine."
"To be honest iris casey is the one you should be thanking…it was her plan that help them got rid of that clown if it wasn't for her momo would still be lost." Said Hiro while looking at cassie.
With watery eyes and a hint of shyness casey replied,"it was nothing really, i just wanted to help and besides momo is my friend to I couldn't let her get hurt." Momo rush to cassie arms and hugged her.
Iris shake her head while looking at her,"no cassie, you did more than that….you proved to be a very smart yet noble person,you are very important to us, and im glad to have you fight along side us."
Cassie hugged momo back while closeing her eyes and whispered,"thanks".
Kyle walked up to lily and tapped her shoulders,"um lily….do you have a minute?".
Lily turned around and face kyle,"sure what's up kyle".
"I know that you got a little mad for not winning the game earlier so I decided to give my price, i know its not much but you deserved it, it's also a thank you gift for protecting us from that maniac, you were really incredible so here take it." He extended his had holding the stuffed cat at her.
Lily's cheeks turned pink as she took the gift that kyle offered.
"I hope you like it." Said kyle smiling at her.
Lily got so flustered that she could barely speak," i…uh….."she snapped back to her self,"I didn't lose on purpose it was all part of a strategy move i had planned but that freak ruined my plan ok…", she said still blushing.
"…sure you did…!" Said akari with a playful grin on her face.
"SHUT UP AKARI!!". She yelled while walking to the kitchen,when she got there, lily leaned on the wall looking at the gift that kyle gave her and with a soft smile she hugged the stuffed cat and whispered,"yes i love it so thank you…".
"Well this victory calls for a celebration who's hungry I'm making my special soup for all of you", rose said holding a basket full of vegetables.
Kyle's face turned green as he felt the same sensation he felt before,"oh no not again".
All of them started to laugh watching Kyle's reaction, momo walk to Hiro and with a soft smile she said to him,"thanks for not abandoning me big brother".
"I told you I would do anything to protect you…little sis."
