Emma Collins thought her wedding day would be the beginning of her happily ever after. Instead, it became a nightmare when she discovered her fiancé, David, betraying her with her own sister, Victoria. In a moment of desperation and heartbreak, Emma exposes their affair to the entire wedding party, hoping to end the marriage. But her plans are shattered when her parents insist the wedding must go on—only now, her sister will be the bride.

Devastated and alone, Emma spirals into despair, her dreams of love and happiness crushed. In a fit of revenge, she finds solace in the arms of a mysterious stranger, unaware that he is Alexander Knight, the most powerful and ruthless CEO in the city. The next morning, she leaves him behind with nothing but a stack of money on the nightstand, never expecting to see him again.

But Alex doesn’t forget. Offended by her gesture and intrigued by her fiery spirit, he tracks Emma down, only to find her standing on the edge of a river, ready to end it all. He rescues her, offering a twisted deal: he’ll help her take vengeance on her unfaithful fiancé and manipulative sister, but in return, she must marry him and bear his child.

As Emma navigates her new life with Alex, she’s thrust into a world of wealth, power, and dark secrets. Her once innocent heart is tested as she uncovers betrayals within her own family, faces off against Alex’s dangerous rivals, and learns that her marriage contract may not be the cold agreement she thought it was. As she and Alex are drawn closer together, Emma must decide if she can truly trust him—or if she’s just a pawn in a game much bigger than she imagined.

In a world where loyalty is fleeting and love is a luxury, Emma must find the strength to reclaim her life, even if it means risking everything for a chance at true happiness. But as old wounds are reopened and new threats emerge, one question remains: Can a contract forged in revenge ever lead to something real?
