Onscreen, Ron, Hermione, and Harry had just gotten past Fluffy, the three-headed dog, and were going through the trapdoor. Dimitri looked hypnotized. He didn't remember the movies, apparently. But he seemed just as captivated as when he did remember them.
"I must read these books," he said. "They're marvelous stories. I feel so badly for Harry. He's incredibly brave. And he wasn't born into royalty."
"His parents were renowned in the wizarding world," Ariana reminded him.
Wincing, Dimitri said, "I felt more emotion about Harry's parents than I did my own."
"At least you felt emotion," Ariana countered. "Your memory may have problems, but your big heart is working just fine."
