Throughout the theme park, an announcement echoed:
[All survivors must participate in the game to have a chance of survival. Refusing to participate is the same as breaking the rule.]
Galenka pondered—God damn it. These people saw other lives as nothing but entertainment. It didn't matter which era it was; the corrupted and the chaotic always trembled before the innocent who wanted nothing but peace.
After a few minutes of roaming the streets of the theme park, she turned to her group and spoke.
"Oliver," Elena said as she walked beside the tall woman with silky, long black hair, "you watch so many survival animations. You have to know a lot about this."
Elena looked at her, ready to push for an answer. "So tell us—what activity has the highest chance of survival?"
"Fiction and life are different," Oliver said, his face pale. "And this is a serious life-and-death situation. I couldn't think of anything."
Galenka frowned—this is unpredictable, and he was right.
