"Finally, you answer my calls." Her voice was unbelievably high-pitched, and it highly irritated him to sense that she was talking to her.
"Good morning to you too." He said, not attempting to hide his irritation.
"I know you don't want to hear my voice because you're too busy with your lovey-dovey lifestyle. But then, I've not given up on you."
"Hmm. What do you want?" He asked, already knowing what she wanted, but just waiting for her to say it out loud.
"I need Markus's head." She said, laughing after making that statement.
"Your wish hasn't even changed at all." He said to her, touching the gear of the car gently.
"Yes, baby." She chuckled. "That cannot change unless it's done."
"What do I stand to gain?" Since he started working for her, he had never asked her this question, so it caught her off guard, even though she had a quick answer.
