Opening her eyes, Rasel was shocked by where she was.
It was a massive room, with towering pillars supporting the ceiling. Each pillar was carved with murals of strange creatures, and at the very center was a circular pool filled with emerald-like water.
It looked crystal clear and should have been cool.
Yet, despite the water remaining perfectly still, the room felt like an oven as beads of sweat rolled down Rasel's face.
Before long, her clothes clung tightly to her body, and her throat became unbearably dry.
She gritted her teeth as an intense pain spread throughout her body.
At first, she was wary of the emerald pool.
But with the unbearable heat surrounding her, she felt compelled to step into it to cool herself down.
There was a high chance the pool was even hotter than the room.
But at the same time...
There was a tiny chance it wasn't.
Perhaps...
It was some kind of miraculous water.
"AHHHHH!"
Rasel screamed with all her might until her voice gave out.
