Keith blinked his eyes as he struggled to wake up.
He felt weak for a moment, but more than that, he realized he was in an unfamiliar place.
His expression changed as he tried to sit up.
Before he could fully do so, a palm gently pressed him back down, making it impossible for him to move.
Keith was now a Rank 0 being, even if he was only at the Early Rank.
For someone to restrain him so effortlessly...
That could only mean...
"Take it easy."
A composed male voice sounded as Devon looked at the confused Keith.
"Who are you, and where am I?" Keith asked as he slowly sat up.
The man, dressed in strange yet refined clothing, replied,
"You are in the royal castle of the Ynvashi Kingdom, one of the strongest mortal kingdoms."
"My name is Devon."
"I am the butler and personal guard of the Fifth Princess."
Devon introduced himself as Keith listened in confusion.
Soon, however, his eyes cleared.
He remembered the books he had once read.
