In the vast reception room, only Shi Yitong and a staff member from the Third Era were present.
The latter had just entered about half a minute ago, carrying a cup of coffee and a stack of documents.
He placed the coffee on the table, then sat down opposite Shi Yitong, opening the documents in his hand.
"Employee number 0719, Shi Yitong, can we begin now?"
Shi Yitong took a deep breath and then nodded.
"Okay, this is our...twenty-sixth conversation, seven days have passed since the last time. How do you feel?"
"Okay."
"Please try to use more definitive descriptions during the interview. On a scale of 1-5, how would you rate your feelings lately?"
"3 points, perhaps I'd feel better without these annoying regular interviews," Shi Yitong said.
"No offense intended, but it's my job to assess and promptly understand your mental state," the staff member said, taking a sip of his coffee.
"Shall we continue?"
