The next day during class break, Ning Qingchen walked up to Xinxin under the gaze of all the girls in the class.
Xinxin propped her chin with one hand, her head tilted slightly as she watched him approach, "Xinxin, how did you know I was transferring to Ye City?"
Xinxin glanced at him and replied irritably, "I didn't know."
Standing up, she reached for her cup.
Ning Qingchen beat her to it by a second, picked up her cup, and said, "I'll get you some water, please don't be mad, okay? I didn't mean to hide it from you, I just wanted to surprise you."
"Then why are you transferring to Ye City to study? Did your parents come to Ye City for work?"
"No."
Ning Qingchen shook his head, his smiling eyes reflecting her features.
He lifted her cup and turned towards the back door of the classroom.
As soon as Ning Qingchen left the classroom, Xinxin was surrounded by a few girls, all chattering at once, "Xinxin, do you know Ning Qingchen? You two seem pretty close."
