Qin Wan heard the sound of someone rising from the row behind her.
She gripped Mu Shaochen's hand slightly tighter.
"Does it hurt a lot?"
Mu Shaochen, noting that Qin Wan's voice was very soft, leaned in and whispered in her ear.
Qin Wan said uncertainly, "That woman behind us, she might not actually be a woman."
Mu Shaochen turned around to see the woman standing up and then sitting down again.
He could only see her curly hair and couldn't make out her face.
Mu Shaochen's gaze didn't linger; it swept past and then he turned back around.
His large hand flipped over and firmly grasped Qin Wan's, leading her out of the movie theater.
"Wanwan, the woman you just mentioned, was it the one who came in later?"
Qin Wan looked back but the woman hadn't followed them out.
"Yes."
She said with a slight frown, "She was wearing heavy makeup, had applied a strong perfume, and it was too dark to see clearly. But I think, he was dressed as a woman."
"Dressed as a woman?"
