No Immortal was willing to accept such a conclusion, but that's the reality. Given the cultivation and path of the Meat Body Buddha, it certainly couldn't crush those almost ant-like templates with a single palm and slaughter the bottom cultivators, as it would fail its Dao Heart, and Wei Yuan wouldn't allow it from the side.
Much like the Meat Body Buddha, the Immortals were also hesitant; even if their Dao Hearts were as hard as steel, the Luck glistening on those templates would cause them to hesitate, unable to act.
Such dense Luck — if all these people were slaughtered, the karmic backlash alone would cause them to fall from Immortal Heaven.
