The causality with Great Joy King Buddha, Wei Yuan can imagine with his feet should not be spoken out, especially not to Zhang Sheng. Otherwise, it might not be ten rules with eight restricting himself, but eight rules restricting himself entirely, resulting in the Dharma name: Eight Precepts.
Wei Yuan, using three strikes of thunder activated by Pure Land, transformed them into Buddhist Divine Thunder. However, they differ from the orthodox Purifying Divine Thunder, being more destructive and powerful—thus termed Void Heaven Divine Thunder. At this point, Wei Yuan attained instant enlightenment of many True Intent of the Void Color Undying Method, mastered quite a bit of Void Heaven Divine Thunder, and realized a subtle difference between Great Joy King Buddha and Great Sun Tathagata.
Tathagata subdues demons, while King Buddha exorcises demons; this is the difference.
