The Pei Xian Workshop was originally established by Old Daoist Chu He, specifically for the production of Immortal Plant Fertilizer. After more than a year of operation, it has grown considerably in scale, employing over three thousand Dao Foundation Cultivators at once. Now, the number of Pei Xian Cultivators is second only to the Heavenly Craftsmen of the Forging Workshop, making it the second largest industry in Qingming.
Despite the old daoist's best efforts, the demand for fertilizer is practically endless. Qingming is now able to fertilize only ten million mu of fields, which is less than a third of the total fields available. However, the production is limited by the number of cultivators, and the increase in crop yields can never keep up with the expansion of farmland.
