The scene investigation was handed over to Jones and Diana; they had already called for an ambulance and arranged for the forensic personnel from the department to come over for investigation. Meanwhile, the two robbers plus kidnappers needed to be sent to the hospital, and someone needed to supervise them there. These tasks were too cumbersome, so Jimmy wasn't interested in participating.
Now that Peter and Elizabeth are safe, all that's left is to go back to the FBI office, make a record for them and let Elizabeth go home. As for Peter, he will have to stay at the office and work overtime.
Jimmy walked out of the power station and lit a cigarette outside, looking around. In a corner, he spotted a homeless man.
