The canyon was silent, the river babbling, sunshine quietly cast down, reflecting on the water, the waves sparkling, adding a touch of beauty to the tranquility. Two people swam swiftly along the river, like nimble fishes, stopping at a bush, climbing ashore swiftly by the side of a low tree, and deftly darting into the woods, rushing towards the hill. With a few leaps, they moved far away, like agile leopards. They were Little Lang and Tiger Girl.
Before long, the two reached halfway up the mountain, climbed up a big tree, and hid amongst the branches to observe carefully. They soon saw a dozen pursuers swimming towards them, advancing quickly through the woods ahead without noticing the traces of the two coming ashore.
