Flashbangs, which hinder vision with intense light, can cause temporary blindness upon explosion, making resistance impossible, even for the strongest.
Outside the Sanhe Martial Arts Hall, an elite anti-terrorist armed police unit stood ready. To ensure complete success, the armed police leader threw three rounds of tear gas and flashbangs inside, equipping assault team members with anti-poison masks, additional flashbangs, and tear gas to use upon finding blind spots inside.
