Uncle Victor took off his thick leather belt, put on a pair of gloves, and chopped a Y-shaped branch before heading towards the trap.
Upon close observation, the little bear looked no bigger than a medium-sized domestic dog at home, weighing just over twenty pounds at most. Its fur was disheveled and dull yellow, and the limb caught by the rope was very thin.

The little bear, now thoroughly tied up like a dumpling, had eyes filled with terror. It kept howling, its mouth frothing with saliva as it struggled frantically.
