Chi Yue stiffened, instinctively straightening her back.
The man pulled out a seat next to her and sat down, "Heard everything?"
Chi Yue nodded calmly.
The man squinted at her, his eyes hawk-like, as if he saw prey.
Chi Yue couldn't remain calm; she stood up, "I just remembered there's work at the company, so I'll take my leave."
Just as she stood, she stumbled over something, and before she knew what happened, she found herself seated in Fu Rongyin's lap as she grasped for something to hold.
Chi Yue got up from him, but the man was quicker to encircle her waist with his arm.
"Chi Yue, when did you learn to play hard to get?"
Chi Yue struggled a bit and, failing to free herself, retorted angrily, "In broad daylight, aren't you afraid of ruining your reputation?"
Fu Rongyin said flatly, "I don't care."
"But I do."
Chi Yue finally got up from him, "I came to ask about last night, the front desk said that I was calling out your name. Can you tell me what happened last night?"
