Upon reaching the island, John immediately jumped out of the cabin, knelt on the lawn with a relieved look of mirth after surviving a disaster.
Smith and Mark's facial expressions were not much better than John's. Clearly, they already regretted coming to this cursed place for an adventure.
Saint Anna's emotions, however, were much more composed.
"All of you camp here and rest for now. I'll go explore deeper into the island by myself," Lin Zifeng announced his upcoming madness to everyone.
"Why not take us with you?"
John shot up from the lawn, thinking Lin Zifeng intended to abandon them all here and escape on his own.
Lin Zifeng ignored his unreasonable outburst.
Moving towards Saint Anna, he said with a serious expression, "Stay here with them and rest; just wait for me to return."
