Drawing water from the Grand Canal, how could it not threaten the survival and production space of Changnan State?
The Wale Republic originally owns nearly 20 kilometers of the main stream of the Maenam River, situated within its borders, part of the upper reaches. The water flow is abundant all year round, and historically, there has been little to no flooding due to the geographical structure, with a large capacity for water intake and discharge in its main river and tributary network.
The right to develop and utilize these resources should belong to the Wale Republic.
But...
Such a Grand Canal for drawing water would have a significant impact on the middle, lower, and downstream areas.
