"Okay, got it."
Meizhen's voice steadied a bit.
"I'm looking for someone named Fat Biao in Kowloon Walled City. Do you know him?"
He asked.
"I know three people named Fat Biao. Not sure which one Mr. Liu is looking for?"
Meizhen replied.
"Tell me about them."
"One runs a gambling stall, another sells drugs, and a third runs a fight pit."
Meizhen said.
"What's a gambling stall?"
Liu Zheng asked.
"It's where the house picks one name out of thirty-six people or animals, writes it on a slip of paper or bamboo, seals it in a jar, then gamblers place bets. When it's time, the jar is broken and the winner is announced."
Meizhen explained.
"Oh."
It sounded familiar; someone he knew once played it.
"And the one with the fight pit?"
Liu Zheng asked again.
"It's for underground fights. But Fat Biao isn't a fighter; he's a manager."
Meizhen replied.
"How do you know these three?"
"They've all dealt with me before."
