Cars behind started honking, and Wen Qiao looked up to see that the red light had turned green, yet the person beside her hadn't moved.
She poked Fu Jinghen's arm with her little finger.
Fu Jinghen turned his head and asked, "Hmm? What's up?"
Wen Qiao lifted her chin to indicate, "Green light now, time to go."
"Oh."
Fu Jinghen snapped back to reality, released the brake, shifted gears, and the car started moving again.
Wen Qiao scooped up a mouthful of pudding and sucked it in, her gaze still on Fu Jinghen: "What were you daydreaming about just now?"
"Nothing," said Fu Jinghen casually.
After a while, he added, "Next time you want cream puffs, tell me. Don't eat those bought by someone else."
Wen Qiao paused, a question mark slowly forming above her head.
