Gao Lian shrugged, "Let's just play, we can talk about it tomorrow too."
Shi Mei knew what sort of person Gao Lian was; since he said that, the new situation probably wasn't urgent.
From his expression, he didn't seem to be in a hurry at all, so it probably wasn't bad news.
If it had been something awful, he would've mentioned it while calling her yesterday.
And so, Shi Mei temporarily set the matter aside.
She turned to look at Dongfang Xuanya, who had been trying to speak with her all along, smiled, and asked, "How did you come up here?"
"I saw Mr. Shi, so I came up," Dongfang Xuanya said, with a hint of pride, "I'm sharp-eyed, aren't I? To find this place and just happened to run into this gentleman... Officer, right?"
When Dongfang Xuanya looked at Gao Lian, her eyes clearly lit up.
Shi Mei raised her brows slightly.
She probably knew what kind of person Dongfang Xuanya was.
