Yu Siqiao felt an even greater headache, "He was kidnapped, and we still don't know who the perpetrator is; there are no witnesses, and we're checking the surrounding surveillance..."
Mo Shu sighed softly after a moment of silence, "I understand."
Yu Siqiao spoke in a low, comforting tone, "It's okay, don't worry, I guess he just wants to make everyone anxious for a bit; he'll be back in a few days."
Mo Shu couldn't quite
describe her own feelings.
Even though she usually detested Mo Jiantao when he was at home, she didn't really want anything bad to happen to him.
As much as she disliked him, she certainly didn't wish death upon him.
At this point, all she could hope for was that Mo Jiantao would return soon.
After hanging up the phone, Mo Shu asked Sao Zha, "Will Mo Jiantao be okay?"
Sao Zha: "What do you mean by 'be okay'? He certainly won't die."
Mo Shu felt somewhat relieved.
