Mo Shu was well aware of the aftereffects of diluting her emotions. Whenever she called him before, her heart felt so sweet, as if it couldn't melt away, and she couldn't wait to fly to him right away, to hold him, to kiss him.
Even though she knew he was very busy, and she was too, she just couldn't bring herself to hang up the phone or end the video call.
The two of them acted as if they had a tacit understanding, keeping the phone or video call going while they each attended to their own business.
From time to time, hearing his voice, Mo Shu would feel a very fulfilling sensation.
But in recent days, Mo Shu had noticed that when she called him, the feelings weren't the same as before, aside from feeling somewhat relaxed.
The change was very clear and very direct.
After talking on the phone or video call with him, Mo Shu would always think of one thing: I really don't love him as much as before.
In a way, that's fine, too.
