Xia Pianpian was momentarily taken aback, her heart inexplicably filled with panic.
Why would someone say something like that out of the blue, unsettling her so much?
Xia Pianpian took Mo Shu's hand and said, "Let's go back, okay? Let's go back to the hospital."
Mo Shu responded, "Mhm."
She smiled, then suddenly lifted her arms to hug Xia Pianpian, saying, "Pianpian, I will always love you."
A sense of unease immediately overwhelmed Xia Pianpian, and an unstoppable sorrow spread within her, "Mo Shu, let's go. We need to go back."
But Mo Shu turned to Lu Jinsen, saying, "Mr. Lu, please take good care of her."
Lu Jinsen fell silent for a moment, then solemnly nodded his head.
Mo Shu beamed a radiant smile, and then, all of a sudden, she collapsed onto Xia Pianpian.
Xia Pianpian saw the blood slowly trickling from her ears and cried out in terror.
She held Mo Shu, wailing loudly and screeching, "Mr. Lu!"
