Xiong Ba's face was a mask of pure terror. Even Master Chen had been defeated. Who else could possibly save him?
"Bai Mu! Let's talk about this! We can talk this out! I'll give you all my assets, just spare my miserable life!"
Xiong Ba immediately dropped to his knees, scared out of his wits.
"Heh, if I kill you, all your assets will be mine anyway," Bai Mu sneered. "I heard you even dared to cause trouble for my apprentice. Old grudges and new, we'll settle them all today!"
"Bai Mu, you should always leave some leeway. Don't push things to the absolute limit. I admit that what happened back then was my fault, but it was just an accident. I understand your need for revenge, so I'll give you all my assets. Isn't that enough? What good will killing me do you?" Xiong Ba bellowed.
