Yang Qi opened the door to find Assistant Qin standing outside, accompanied by a few servants from the manor. The servants held baskets from which a fragrant aroma wafted. It was clearly a meal.
"So it's you, Assistant Qin. Is there something you need?" Yang Qi didn't have a good impression of this assistant, but since she worked for Lin Qingxuan, he remained polite.
Assistant Qin, however, wore an expression of utter disdain and contempt, as if she were someone of great importance. She's just an assistant, after all.
"The Young Miss had me bring this meal for you," she said coldly.
"Come in!" Yang Qi certainly wasn't going to refuse Lin Qingxuan's kindness.
"Please thank Miss Qingxuan for me, Assistant Qin. I'll pay for the meal!"
