Jiang Jiu was somewhat teary-eyed. These girls had it rough.
After Siyan had showered and came out, he noticed Jiang Jiu still holding her phone. He sat next to her and wiped her tears with a towel, "Still crying, huh? Aren't we going for hotpot tomorrow? Be careful or your swollen eyes might prevent you from going out."
Jiang Jiu leaned on Siyan's shoulder, "I'm not crying, just a bit moved."
Siyan chuckled softly, "This piece of news was really good; it caused quite a stir. Congratulations, Reporter Jiang."
Jiang Jiu smiled, hugged Siyan and kissed him, "Now you know how formidable I am."
"Yeah, formidably bad." Siyan lightly stroked her spine with one hand. "Your car was sent for repairs a couple of days ago, what happened?"
Jiang Jiu was startled; she hadn't expected Siyan to know about such a minor thing.
"It's nothing, just a dent in the rear."
"Rear-ended?"
"Someone hit me on purpose."
Siyan pinched her chin, looking into her eyes, "Who?"
"Cui Yanyan."
