If the restriction is of the same Cultivation level, it requires a rigorous test of intelligence, precise control of Spiritual Energy, and understanding of various restrictions. If it's across Cultivation levels, it becomes even more difficult.
Conversely,
If one's Cultivation is overwhelming and skilled in restrictions, it's actually much simpler to break them. A direct sweep can violently dismantle them.
