Looking at Lu Shaodan's forlorn face, the brick inside the shoebox remained steadily in place, as if it had never been crushed into dust.
After a moment of thought, Ahqing suddenly asked, "Shaodan, do you want to try it?"
"What?"
Lu Shaodan was taken aback, "I just... asked a question, didn't I?"
Ahqing shook her head and silently pressed her palm gently and skillfully onto the brick. In an instant, the brick collapsed and once again turned into a pile of fluffy dust.
Amidst the dusty haze, Ahqing gave her a radiant smile, "I mean... do you want to try Divination?"
"You and Dandan have been with me every day, and although your Spiritual Power can't be used for other things, you still have some. It might be just enough to ask one question... Now, would you like to try it yourself?"
Lu Shaodan was somewhat stunned and instinctively wanted to refuse.
However, once her emotions settled down, what emerged in her eyes was the eagerness to try and a slight disbelief.
