After resting for a night, Xia Nuo's mood wasn't as gloomy.
She thought about going home again. No matter what, she wanted to earn her parents' forgiveness. Since coming back yesterday, every time she thought of her parents' disappointed and sad expressions, she felt uncomfortable.
She didn't want her parents to be disappointed in her. She wanted their forgiveness, and hopefully their blessing.
"Leng Yan, can we go ask for Dad and Mom's forgiveness again today?"
"Okay." Leng Yan nodded without the slightest hesitation.
Driving to the Xia Family home, Xia Nuo didn't dare to take out her key to open the door; she knocked on the door instead, and her dad's voice came from inside.
"Who is it?" Mr. Xia, out of habit, looked through the peephole. Seeing them, he was about to open the door but decided against it.
"Dad, it's us." Xia Nuo said from outside.
Mrs. Xia heard her voice, her expression slightly moved, and she said indifferently, "Send them back."
